    We Traded our VW Atlas for a 2014 Audi Q7 3.0t
    the lease was up on the Atlas so we tuned it into VW and bought the Q7 from Audi North Scottsdale. My Friend Brian in one of the top salesman there and he did a great job helping us with the purchase.
    The Q7 we chose is a 2014 Prestige titanium package sline with 89k miles. I will be using it as a development car to tune the 3.0l supercharged engine. Thank you for watching

    I bought a 2015 q7 tdi a couple of years ago and knew about some of these expenses already but just put $2000 worth of brakes and rotors which lasted 60k miles but the big surprise is the tires. Get tires with a good warranty cause mine only last 25-30k miles. It’s a big heavy car so it’s to be expected I guess. But having to pony up $1200-$1400 in tires every 25k miles is insane. Welcome to owning a German vehicle.

      It is the size of the wheels when it comes to the tires.
      It has nothing to do with the car being German.

    Was thinking of getting an Atlas or Q7, and saw your 11mpg in the Atlas video, I too tow up I-17 at times, what MPG does the Q7 get when towing your trailer up I-17?

    • @GermanEliteTuning
      @GermanEliteTuning  2 месяца назад +1

      The q7 towed great the 1 time I have towed with it. I don’t remember what we got for mpg tho. It gets 15-17mpg in city driving and 22mpg at highway speeds. If you can find a good condition q7 tdi that would be the best towing option.

    I have my eye on a 2014 Audi Q7 Premium w./ Bang & Olufsen speaker system, 21" wheels and tires, etc. Pretty loaded. I hear people say there are many things that break down quickly, and the brakes go fast. What is your experience after having this Audi for a year?

      we have a 2008 q7 and to be fair things do break. but it is never anything major and the repairs are quite affordable. i have seen many 3.0t s line prestige models make it past 200K miles quickly. They're very durable and reliable. even when mine had an issue it still drove like normal until i got it fixed and it never gave me any issues after that. taken it on many road trips and by far my favorite car to road trip in. I highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!

    So nice! I want an a7 with the 3.0T. How reliable is the engine?

    • @GermanEliteTuning
      @GermanEliteTuning  3 года назад +1

      The A7 is a bad ass car. The motor itself is very reliable. They do have issues with the water pump leaking, the thermostat sticking closed causing overheating, the upper timing covers leaking oil and the pcv breather failing. For the most part it’s a very solid engine.

    It doesn’t have 333hp it has around 276hp. Now the SQ5 has the 333hp engine. An APR Stage 1 tune will get you last that though for around $1000 Bucks

      The 2014-2015 sline q7 prestige has 333hp. The non sline q7 has 276. I will be calibrating our own tune for the 3.0t very soon.
