Love your foil placement iv started to use your hair line pattern client loved it I'm a slow foiler so I used 10 vol she loved it thanks for your video and being you love how honest you are
Ok I watch you, JZ styles and Jamie Dana and you and Jamie Dana are my favorite I feel like you both equally out in sooo much more effort and you don’t get their hair or cover things up with Toner both really deserve wayyy more subscribers! I’ve only been doing hair like 6 months so I’m constantly coming back to your videos and rewatching and sometimes I wonder how is this FREE?!! Because you’re such a good educator! Redken or Paul mitchel need to make you an educator I swear they’re missing a Huge opportunity
Jz seems like a lovely person, but almost all of the work she showcases is severely damaged hair that she covers with extensions. Kristi’s clients always leave with healthy natural hair, which I appreciate.
Your like Picasso ..But as a Hairstylist, your Awesome 👀💯😊 I live in Fresno County California if I am ever in your neck of the woods I would love for you to do my hair.💕
Great video! I would however use olaplex in the toners instead. I don’t like to use olaplex me personally in my lightener because it slows it down n doesn’t give it a kick. The lightener has to stay on longer therefore putting more stress in the hair.
Just had another question for you, so my hair is split dyed with black underneath and blonde highlights on the top, I am going in to retouch the roots on both the black and highlighting my new growth. Should I start with the lightening or the black first? P.s. sorry for so many random questions, I just really admire your art, and trust that you would give me your best judgement✨💌
Sorry, I haven't seen the whole video yet but I just wanted to say that you have a lovely voice. Early morning husky maybe, like a radio show host. Not manly at all. People usually hate the sound of their own voice on recordings though, don't they. 🙂💐 Edit: the work you did was beautiful!
Hey from the uk 🇬🇧 👋 really interesting to learn about the dash of rose gold I completely get that it will balance out the Ash just in case it grabs! Could you get the same results with a touch of neutral as some neutral brands can pull warm on their own or would you stick to the rose gold every time? Hope you’re keeping well? ☺️💕
Hello! So I've learned that blonde hair accepts ash and rejects warmth. So to my understanding..... just adding a neutral might not be "warm" enough. I think it's probably better than nothing, but I think for it to grab and hold the warmth, actual gold, Even copper is probably better than natural. Lisa loves balayage goes over this alot in her teaching.
Hey girl!!! I have a question. How long dis this foil placement take you? I'm at my very first salon and I plan on staying g here long time :) so I'm fairly new. But I do very detailed work like you do, but I'm always being told to go faster ( I'm also their employee) and I try but I feel if I go to fast I dont get the lift I want or get the exact look I want or the clients wants. It typically takes me around 2 hours to 2.5 to foil about 75 foils, and a few drop outs. And I'm normaly doing fairly long hair. And most if it's not virgin. Is this a good timing? I feel like I'm being pushed a little too gard to go faster for the work i actually do. (Which I personally think watching you, Jamie ,Jz and others have really pushed me past a just starting out stage. ) and thank you. Let me know your thoughts. Lov e your videos, tips and work!!! Thank you.
Oh geez...... DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO RUSH YOU. Your bosses want you to rush cause more faster work =more clients=more$$$ in THEIR pocket. You get a fraction of what they get. Some foil applications take me 3+hours to get in. ESPECIALLY with babylights..... those are like micro foils with no subsection. Whatever you do just make sure you charge accordingly. I was always told hurry up no one will want to book with me and be in salon 5+hours...... the same people saying that now refer clients to me cause I specialize in blonding and don't overlap... take my time and stay booked out regularly 3+months. Clients will appreciate that you take your time and do quality work. If your salon owners don't and continually rush you, time to move on!
@@hairbykristijennings6648 I really appreciate you saying this Kristi. Foiling is very labour heavy and baby lights is a good example of how long it takes to foil. I have and still do feel very insecure about how everyone tells me how slow I am at doing hair but everyone else slaps the foils on like it’s nothing and wonder why their work looks uneven and patchy. I remember in the early days of training I was always the last one to finish just because I did fine sections and despite the end result being better most of the time it was never good enough. I have worked with educators who do not refer to scientific facts when using chemicals and these are the kind of people who get paid to lie. With your content I find your technical process trustworthy and your approach is factual mainly because you don’t bullshit others you tell them the truth even if you have to explain it for 6 hours.
I did a process like this the other day and it took me at least 6.5 hours. 4 hrs to completely finished foiling and balayaging. How long did it take you?
Hey why my roots are instantly orange, if i dye it blond? In here hair aren't tue roots orange. There are yellow and nice to tone. I have darkblond hair naturally. Because of this, or?

You haven't let it lighten enough. It needs to sit longer
@@hairbykristijennings6648 thank you very much. How you matt the yellow, if there are wo colors in your hair? Only on top, the toner/Shampoo?
❤🥰
Kristi, you are so fanny. I would definitely watch your talk show if you had one.
