Felt like crying when they show the old clips. Nostalgic. How time flies. It's been 10 years. When they said "We were really young" that hits hard. Jihyo's still beautiful like they said. But in the past years she was crazy beautiful like Haha said. So many things have changed in the show, well so have the real life. Life was good back then.

I love how they considered an episode dedicated to the girls, especially jihyo, by replaying the old recordings! They even added how the purpose for this episode's theme is to highlight the importance of both of them in runningman. Jihyo has been pretty quiet in the recent episodes, especially during the chuseok episode and that made me think all sorts of scenarios

True. At first i didn't realize that she was min hyorin until my sister told me:") it's really make me shock. She looked more cute than when in the min hyorin era
KJK had the same smile on his face while watching the clip as he did in the clip (1:02) in the early days. He also was the only one that didn't cringe over what he did in the past and was the first to compliment SJH like he used to. The song he sang to her on the "subway" challenge was one of my favorite songs (Come Back To Me- a collab with Gary/Leessang). Haven't heard that in a while. They all looked so young and innocent back then.

Suddenly reminded of how jihyo used to rely on jaesuk and sukjin a lot, maybe because they're married so she felt comfortable with them
She also used to rely on Kwang Soo. You could see it in the earlier episodes. She said Kwang Soo was her first friend on the show and would talk to her to make her feel better. It's the reason why we saw them fighting all of the time in the beginning of the show. There have also been times when she appeared on other shows and was asked about RM and said she was most thankful for Kwang Soo.

Basically, most of the flashbacks were of KJK and SJH and although KJK was trying to win the mission, he didn’t cringe like the rest of the members, and I think he just felt a bit embarrassed and remembers what SJH meant to him and how pretty she really was. The other members know whats up... lets see what else they bring to the table
I think that was more because her other lovelines (i.e. Haha and Gary) are both married now so it's awkward to bring it up too much. KJK is still single so indeed there is still potential 😉 my heart skipped a beat when he carried her to the chair 😂

Yeah I remember ji hyo saying they're just casually taking their clothes off infront jihyo and both don't care at all that's when you know they treat each other as a family
Also, jihyo takes a long time to warm up to someone. That's why it took wayyy longer for rm boys to be very comfortable with her so every week, the spark was still there.
With somin, as soon as she arrived, she was welcoming and wayyy too open with her life with them. That's why rm boys were quicker to treat somin comfortably.

Yes, Jihyo seems like a mysterious woman that's why rm boys loves to know new things about her. I'd say it has to do with how the show was. Running Man was not famous at all. It was like a cheap tv show that wouldn't air for so long back then. It was episode 3. They were very careful with everything back then. Somin was just like Jihyo when she became a member. She was a bit shy but with Sechan by her side, a comedian and friend of same age that boosts her confidence that's why she's very open. Jihyo on the other hand, most the members were single back then, and Jihyo was insanely beautiful, I mean still is but her beauty back then was mesmerising so who wouldn't flirt with her.
It's true though..Tbh I don't understand why people compare them so much.
They are entirely different personalities and when you observe closely, you will notice that too. And Jihyo is somewhat introverted and it's not bad. I am an introvert myself but i like Somin because she seems like a person i would love to be.
And Jihyo is very polite,graceful and good at games. It's like Jihyo resembles Jong Kook a lot and Somin resembles Kwangsoo more.
And i believe SBS purposely chose a female character that goes in contrast to Jihyo's character maybe to avoid comparison or to add a different flavor to the show.

Is nice to see them acknowledge jihyo nonna but it’s sad too. In the clips you get to see how they have change towards her and I don’t mean only the romantic areas but how close they were at the the beginning. From the beginning of Bo Pil era, he always bring something from the past, such as popular games back then, even this episode he bring clips from the past. Then he recognized Knowing Brothers and made game based on that show, even show the word Ho Dong is Watching (a pun based on Jae Suk is Watching from KB), I think they already consider 2 options: Running Man x Knowing Brothers and/or bring past members such as Gary, Joong Ki, etc.
I prefer this PD over the previous one!
