North Korea is very sensitive to criticism. Ukraine should consider a PR campaign offering citizenship and a job for North Korean defectors who speak out against North Korean government and Russia. Make it very public and Kim won’t risk sending them

will happen on its own, I bet a number of those being send to Ukraine will seize the chance to defect. Especially when they become prisoners of war ... and those who get back from Ukraine will have experienced pieces of western culture/infrastructure/etc, or how russia looks down on asian ethnicities and how they are being wasted in a trade for weapons/stuff.
Letting North Koreans out of NK always was a threat to that regime, even sending them into a warzone will backfire as it still exposes these people to the world and educates them.
Bad idea. Being on the Russo-Ukrainian front line is not a very safe way to defect. Russians would shell them, plus minefields. Ultimately, such a message would logically attract people who want to defect to the war. Those who are opposed to the NK government are best off staying in NK. So that when the house of card falls, they are there. NK has a population of 26 million. They will not send many in any case. Just some desperate poor people at most.
Don't forget that NK has all their families hostage should they try anything like defecting.
Never interrupt your enemy as they make their mistakes, rather cheer them on and tell them it is working.

I would think the North Korean soldiers would immediately surrender and choose to live outside of North Korea. The culture shock of just traveling outside of N Korea should be stunning.
They would be immediately shipped to the battlefield, no doubt with plenty of safeguards against "culture shock". Then they stand in some nondescript forest and are told to shoot "the other guys". And they will do it. It's crazy wishful thinking that the North Korean army would have zero discipline. And that's why that is far from good news.
North Korea makes sure that the family of the soldiers are held as “hostages” to guarantee the soldiers return (if they are still alive) when their tour is over.
This is standard procedure for communist countries.
Oh... It is important part of recruiting solders from North Korea.... I need to think about it
I have a feeling they will try to hide them from seeing "modern" cities while being transported. They'll get them to the battlefield ASAP. Going from NK to the front lines won't be as big of a shock to them that way.
They cannot defect as Kim has their families back home.

The NK shells are even less accurate than the Russian shells. And there’s many reports of the NK shells blowing up in the barrels.

Fighting in Ukraine would likely be a step up in quality of life for North Korean soldiers.
Imagine if they were to assault a trench and found all the food that Ukrainians had. I know that’s happened to the Russians as a discover how much food in the quality of it that they have been questioning their own side.

South Korea needs to send advisors to Ukraine to test their new military inventions on their northern neighbors who are visiting Russia and entering Ukraine without visas.

Blessings to the widows and the female soldiers, who fight. when the young men run out if they can afford leaving the war in Ukraine. Some cultural corrections needed there honestly.
Hopefully you in Ukraine pay attention to NATO, that they announced on different occasions and through various leaders that "Ukraine will not be a member of NATO". then you may understand that Zelensky is taking money from the west for his prosperity. Zelensky doesn't care about the Ukrainian people who fight on warzone fields, or who are captives in Russia now. Zelensky provoked Putin in a war that you will never win, Because the world understands that Ukraine was One entity with Russia before the Soviet Union collapsed, And the NATO who are not following the international agreements which prohibit NATO from expanding to East. Regardless of Latvia or other countries who joined the Euro. Ukraine is very known to be the Gate to invading Russia. Thus the world will understand the consequences for Zelensky's actions. He is not even willing to hold elections as long as he is still staying in Ukraine. After the war as any defeated president he will fly to get protection of one of his allies, when he already signed on the selling of Ukraine land to Poland benefit for example. Poland should not push you to fight and push you back to don't export your goods through them to make you unable to pay for the war unless by deserted lands.
Pay attention that Putin threatens and threatens,.. Then when Putin moves, NATO is not ready to sacrifice their prosperity to protect Ukraine. They are only ready to sell weapons to Ukraine and get very wealthy because of that. Remember what Biden said, that the money he uses to fund the Ukraine war is spent in the American defense complex not in Ukraine. And remember how many generals in the army buy goods for the army that are priced 3 times higher than the market price (1/3 for the producer + 1/3 for Zelensky + 1/3 for army generals “army generals who use Soldiers Wifes”). Then Normal people in Ukraine (not the war benefiters) will understand why poor who must die and rich shall get richer.

I think it was a HUGE mistake of the ukrainian leadership to dismiss the requests of Saluschnyj and Syrskyj to mobilize another 500k of men. The longer you wait, the worse it gets, because in case of an extreme emergency, you will have untrained men on the frontlines, instead of people who got at least 6-12 months of training.
The HUGEst mistake is to treat russian population in ukr.

According to South Korea's TV Chosun, citing a South Korean government official and referenced by Reuters, North Korea is planning to send construction and engineering forces to occupied Ukraine as soon as next month for rebuilding work. Reports indicate a Battalion of soldiers will be deployed to Ukraine 🇺🇦.
Looks like South Korea will have no problem arming Ukraine now. Especially now that ruzzia plans on giving longer range weapons technology to North Korea. This won't be good for ruzzia or North Korea.
That sounds like the North Koreans will be construction slaves.
North Korea has in the past sold slaves to Russia for use in mining and logging operations in the Russian Far East, so this might not be too different.

In the Gorlovka direction, the soldiers of the 2nd infantry battalion of the 24th separate mechanized ukr brigade made a collective decision to lay down their arms. Left unsupported by the command and suffering losses, they voluntarily surrendered to save their lives.
