It's amazing to rediscover songs you have forgotten about completely but are so deeply engrained in your brain from decades ago. This happened to pop up on Spotify tonight out of nowhere and he brain instantly clicked. I would have probably never thought about this song the rest of my life of it weren't for a random play. Makes me wonder what else great music I have forgotten. Time flies. Don't take it for granted.
I feel that. I just found this song and heard it for the first time in 10-15 years. Didn’t even know what it was called, had to scour some Kerrang ‘00s playlists. That chorus is such an earworm!
Yeah I do and I agree, they were indeed awesome. Some of the free CDs with Kerrang were also great and sometimes there were even free video cassettes with the magazine. Early 00s metal scene was amazing, unlike today sadly.
For Godsake! I spent all day today to find this song, I just woke up with the chorus stuck in my head. Finally I found it, you shoould have seen me, pure adrenaline! 1000 thank you! 2023 and still alive
If you like Mudvayne, Static X, Rob Zombie, check us out! We just put out a new single/video called "Neurostatic". Let us know what you think in the comments!
I used to wait for this song to come on MTV2 because I never owned a computer as a kid, turn the volume up to 40 on my dads crappy old tube television and sing as loud and hard as I could.
When I first heard these guys I pretty much knew from then on that they would be one of my favorite bands of all time for a long time. This song is great along with every other one. I wish they were more noticed.
Saw these guys at Ozzfest early 2000s(ah the memories),didn't know who they were, one of few bands that won me over on live performance alone, still hits hard nearly 15yrs later

Such an amazing band. So slept on. This album is still 🔥 in 2019. For all the trash that came out during the nu metal era, their were exceptions like AHC, Deadsy, Deftones, Norhingface, Dragpipe.
i remember back when i heard this one ! i was even more impressed when i saw Shawn #6 from slipknot. Timeless track, the chorus brings back some good old memories
Truely one of the best bands I have ever heard. Thankyou for your music.I will always enjoy listening to all that you have done.Truely a shame and mystery to why you guys are not that well recognised as you you should be.
Dude, i remeber myself as a kid seeing this video on MTV. I rememberer the melody of the song but could not find it. Couple of years ago i listened to a playlist on spotify and this song hit differently! Now call me strange lol

What a band! I wish they had release another album during this period. I haven't found any thing close to this from anywhere else. The new album isn't bad but I don't think it holds a candle to The War of Art
Man, I remember this song back on Kerrang in like 2001/2002. when kerrang! played actual decent stuff *most of which nu metal* but fuck, who cares. These guys were in their own league.

One of the best songs they've ever made....Makes it hit home even harder that Chad Hanks passed away last Sunday......I've known these guys for 20 + years, as I'm from Minneapolis too. Until we meet again, Mr. Hanks.....I know you'll be beating on that bass guitar in the afterlife....
I was at the show where their guitarist was found dead. The crowd was full of a bunch of assholes. They started booing and throwing beer at the band crew when the announcement was made.
Saw AHC this weekend with Motograter. I can't believe these guys weren't on my radar back then. I'm a new fan! How did I not know about these guys???? Amazing performance...they were flawless...
Please check out Laurentian tides!! Intricate progressive/nu metal... First album is nothing like the new stuff we're recording. But I hope you dig it.
C'mon guys, we listen to metal, get off the soap boxes. Jazz is king, blues started all of this, and even then it was born from the pain of slaves. Open your ears & you'll hear that different genres play to different mindsets. Music is the communication of feelings, and I'm sorry, this song will never evoke the anger that some bands like the aforementioned can. If you want more melody with heavy rhythm undertones, while still maintaining mostly clean vocals, look into Intandem - Deceivers(guitarist from Threatsignal)
This song has one of my favourite lines of all time! 'Pause, silence............... another moment dropped off......' Epic line, epic delivery! Amazing.
Back in 2008 I met Chris emery, I worked in our school kitchen for extra credit in the morning before classes started and Chris would deliver us milk, after a couple of times we started talking and he told me about American head charge and going on tour. He was awesome and I wish I could talk to him again, I had his number for the longest time but lost it awhile ago. I will always look back to being that 13 year old middle schooler getting to know a truly amazing person.
