Well Done~! The Purple L00ks Awesome! I'm a Big fan of it Myself. The Farm Looks Great, Your Son & the Others are having a Ri0t! Best of Luck & Blessings with the Auction!
@@MoreFunMakingIt You've come too far now, Lee! That's a fine looking Amiga and makes my nostalgic hairs stand on end :) Really looking forward to the charity stream this year. Hopefully I can find some way of contributing this time around.
Congrats on 10K!! And excellent work on the Amiga. I still don't have one of those in my collection, but I probably won't be able to afford to buy one from the charity auction. 😞 I'm looking forward to the livestream. I'm confident you'll meet and exceed your target. You have some of the most generous people out there in your fanbase. I still need to do the promo vid for the C64 I'm going to be auctioning. The retrobrighting didn't go to plan (who's surprised) and I had to figure out how to recover from that. Got it fixed, though, so I should be making that video soon. Cheers, mate and don't burn yourself out. You want to be healthy enough to enjoy the fruits of your labors on the day.
Bit late to the party on this one. Love the dedication to purpleizing everything possible in the machine, its a beautiful thing indeed. Congrats on 10K (well 10.2 now). Maybe one of the Donkeys can be named 'Commodore' ?!
This thing looks absolutely fantastic. Those purple tones under the clear shell... mmmm The ArcadeR joystick is a great choice, too. I've been using one for a while now and I love it.
Awesome work and a fantastic result. Particularly enjoyed the roaming cam work at the Befriending Farm (and seeing Thomas of course). Miniature Donkeys you say? I think I want one. Bit of an understated celebration for reaching 10k as that's blooming impressive. Maybe at the next big milestone wear a crown, do a dance or summit?
I love how each community has its buzzwords, retro community, “sockets and recap” gaming community “RGB” upgraydd (2d’s for a double dose of pimpin’) community replace the paste etc. music community “better on vinyl “ kinda cool imo.
You were nearly 'triggered' by a resistor not being the same colour and I was nearly annoyed by you referring to two transistors as 'passive' components...
Looks amazing 😎 let’s hope it raises as much as possible on the 19th 🙏 I’ll be eagerly watching 😜 cheers Mike 🇬🇧
Thanks Mike!

Thanks 👍
Lovely work Lee! More Fun Miniaturising Donkeys!
Another channel name in the bank!
Wow - 10K! Well done sir. Thoroughly deserved (and more to come!)
Cheers Roy! I did jokingly tell people when I hit 10k I was going to delete the channel 😂

That's a nifty looking Amiga! 😍 Did get a little worried as soon as you mentioned having a good silkscreen though! 😉
I'll be having words about that in the KIM-1 video 😆
@@MoreFunMakingIt At least you got a solder mask! 😀
@@DevilishDesign 😂 that was very thoughtful
Great job and a noble idea!
Thank you!
Such a great project and cause! Well done!
😁
Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers.
Thank you so much 😀
Such a nice machine, such an awesome cause!
It really is!
Congratulations on reaching 10K subs Lee. ✨✨🎊🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊

Looking forward to seeing what you did!
Well done on your work and I really hope that you raise a LOT of money on the day for this very worthy cause.
Best of luck and stay safe,

Thank you!
Can’t wait for the 19th October
Same here! I need a rest! 🤣
That machine looks loverly. Congratulations on the 10k
Cheers John! 😁

I love this idea. I will give it a try but I suspect they might already have names.

I'll organise a private dance just for you 😲😆
But, but... The PCB in the joystick is green. Aaaaargh!
Jokes aside, wonderful job, keep up the good work!
Watch this space...
Purple is the wifes fav colour and I guess I will have to bid on this :)
You might be tempted by what's on the bench right now...
Damn, that is Gorgeous. Very clean.
Congratulations on 10k! More great work for a great looking charity! I think I need some kind of Amiga in my life....
A home isn't a home without an Amiga! Or is it a cat?
@@MoreFunMakingIt I've never had a cat, or an Amiga.
Congrats on the 10K 🎊 🎉 Also good to hear some fellow “Aussielanders” are throwing some items in with the auction 🫏
Awesome thank you!
A Cadbury's Amiga is born. Utterly tasty.
Peel off the solder mask and it's solid milk chocolate inside.
I really want a Fry's Turkish Delight right about now
More of a Crunchie man myself 😆
Looks great! I wonder… Would black keycaps look even better?
Looks like the money will go to a wonderful place btw!
They probably would, but they are VERY expensive and I don't know if the return would be enough to justify them.
Great as usal!
Amazing how easy it looks to desolder, I might need to invest in something like that.
Its clever editing ;) It does look quite easy when its sped up so much, takes a bit longer. But with the right tools its not too difficult.
A desolder gun is the single best investment I made when I decided to start trying to restore these 80s electronics

That white / beige cover would be the perfect place to autograph it or put a plaque on it telling where it came from…
There are plans for that cover!

The keyboard encoder chip is a relative of the 6502. Always thought it was a cool callback to the 8bit era.
They're made by MOS, which became CSG (commodore semiconductor group) :)
how much chipram?
2mb
@@MoreFunMakingIt very nice .
You were nearly 'triggered' by a resistor not being the same colour and I was nearly annoyed by you referring to two transistors as 'passive' components...
We all have our breaking points 🤣
Had a professor once that said “If there’s no Vcc pin, it’s passive”.
@@c1ph3rpunk they'll call anyone 'professor'...
😅😅
I intentionally mix resistor colors and directions lol.
As both a retro enthusiast, and the parent of special needs children, I look forward to bidding!
Thank you James! Hope you win something cool 😀
