🪔 2024 ஒரே நாளில் Diwali & Halloween Celebration | Temple Visit |

USA Tamil VLOG on Diwali festival celebration and Halloween day in America. On Diwali day, we decorated the home with lamp, lights and also we went to temple for prayer. Fire crackers are done in the temple every year in USA. Also we enjoyed our fireworks on the occasion of Diwali. Diwali awareness is displayed in multiple places in America like Public library, public spots, Tamil sangam, temple etc. Our family celebrated Halloween day in the USA by visiting malls, homes, schools to collect candy & chocolates as part of Halloween tradition (trick or treat). Also, we have packed chocolates/candy for our neighbors/friends and placed them outside the home along with Halloween decoration. This is a one day event in a year where kids of all ages have fun the whole day. Different events were organized by volunteers to attract children. Your videos visuals are generally good with some useful info, references shared ...i do watch at times... thought you would emphasize on our biggest festival Deepavali esp when it was celebrated on oct.31st yday ...kids growing here must learn to enjoy and understand the essence of our festivals than shopping and market driven english holidays ...we a lot of Hindus fail to explain and emphasize our meaningful traditions and pass on the actual practices to the next generation...it's high time we do this as early as possible...lighting deepams, bursting crackers, wearing new dresses and eating goodies, visiting temples is equally joyous and instead of copying others culture why not our generations learn about our own valuable positive traditions? We did that in NJ celebrating Deepavali well...had 10 local.kids coming for trick or treat, that's it...rest was all our Deepavali all the way ...with both my adult youngsters
