As fellow Canadian it was great to find your channel. I love that you took under 10mins to show how to use the die for the Nuggets. I've been looking for a Canadian supplier for both die and Nuggets but seeing that you only have a USA source for the die, I'll have to wait to buy the items. The higher prices and exchange rates are beyond ridiculous. I often wonder what kind of an increase in sales these companies would have if they made their products more affordable for us. Looking forward to watching all of your videos. Thanks for a simple yet thorough demo. :-) ( Edmonton)
over 90% of my audience is in the US hence the links, and I do all my craft shopping at Simon Says Stamp who is US based. Regardless of where the items are purchased things are more expensive here because of exchange rates, taxes and craft stores up here have to pay higher shipping fees and all that. Has absolutely nothing to do with the crafting brands at all it's just logistics and how things work up here. EVERYTHING is more expensive here vs in the US it just is what it is.
I thought these were so cute during the release and seeing you make them they are in fact adorable! I did order the tag but none of the other components. Being in Canada and not having the nuggets, I didn't see the point but if I do happen to go south this coming year and get some nuggets, then I will order those extra pieces ! Thanks for sharing Amy.
I know right? I am literally hoarding the pack MFT sent me b/c so far the price to buy and ship them to Canada is INSANE (and I never travel). I need to remember to keep my eye out for them with all the Valentine candy in stores b/c you never know...
Wilton makes a silicone mold with nugget sized candy. I see it online at Walmart. It's 10 cavity alternating between nugget and round. Called Box of Candy. There is also a gem shaped one with 12 cavities that made two rectangle shapes among others. Not expensive-less than 5 American. Wilton products are pretty decent. Make your own nuggets and wrap with candy aluminum wraps before using the paper wrap from here.
I just checked out the Simon Says website, OMG I am so in love with it. Thank you. I also love your video I have been surfing RUclips for treat holders for my grandchildren to take to daycare and to school. This is awesome. Just sad that most of the products are out of stock.
you can click on any products on the SSS site to get an e-mail notification when it's restocked! These were SUPER popular and I'm hoping MFT and SSS etc can get them back in stock asap!! :)
EXACTLY - I've literally not been able to use products in the past (not MFT) because I couldn't get the items I needed here!! Plus it's chocolate so it was like an extra bonus lol
Prairie Paper & Ink (AmyR) totally agree! She’s turning 5yrs and it’s hard trying to think of things for both girls and boys to take as a “thank you” gift. ❤️
Super cute idea! I live in southwestern Manitoba and often head across to Bottineau, ND. They have nuggets at the Walmart there, and I have often picked them up. I've wrapped them before, with little rectangular wraps, and put them in long, skinny bags. That shaker pouch is super cute though!
I'm soo glad you said that!! Hershey nuggets are VERY hard to find here in Canada! I used to see them all the time, then all of a sudden, they are not to be found! They are like a Unicorn!! lol Very nice with your project!!
love your tags- ok that is a frame! yay! I wasnt sure- I guess i would have found out if I had used it! thank you for helping me understand this set :)
I usually get my friends to pick them up when they go to the United States. I'm in Sudbury and the Bulk Barn does not carry them but sometimes the superstore carries them......but you are right.....they are very expensive!
Between Simon says stamp, Ellen Hutson, hallmark scrapbook, and mft the treat tag is completely sold out. Sad panda face. I had to buy bits and pieces from each retailer. Lol! So cute and thank you for sharing!
I love this Nugget set of dies but you are so right, Amy....to get the nuggets in Canada the price is outrageous! I'm going to write them about this, although I doubt it will do any good LOL! Your projects are so incredible cute and fun...TFS!
I just bought a bag of Hershey's Nuggets here in Australia for $34! There are just some projects(snuggets come to mind) that only these sized nuggets will do. And the chocolate to eat isn't even that good:) What a cute die! I loved this project and can see for many different occasions making these treat tags. Thank you for sharing:)
I love these, and I always enjoy your videos. I am also in Canada and have been unable to find Nuggets this year (used to be able to get them at Wal-Mart and Bulk Barn, but no longer). I contacted Hershey Canada, and they responded that Nuggets are "no longer produced for nationwide distribution". However, they suggested another product, saying "HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate With Whole Roasted Almonds Candy and the HERSHEY'S Dark Chocolate With Whole Roasted Almonds Candy are available and are shaped just like a nugget." I am so hoping to find these, as I'd love to try making these tags. Thanks for the inspiration. 😊
I'm not sure why I watched past the bit where you said they were difficult to get hold of in Canada because I'm in England ... Anyway they are very cute.
Cute video and I love the set- HOWEVER- that seems like a lot of work to (die)cut out all those different paper wraps with the dies when it would be easier/much faster to batch cut them using a regular paper cutter? It’s just a rectangle - right? No special stitch embossing or anything decorative like that?
For something this small, it doesn’t really matter the sides. Once you wrap the candy it will flatten out. Especially because you are just using patterned paper. If it were cardstock, that would make sense, because it’s thicker paper. But because it’s thinner, it won’t matter.
I think because we have Canadian Hershey...we can't get our hands on the nuggets...we used to be able to get the Hershey Assortment here...and now they have a Canadian version...ugh!
I love this! But, I am 2 years too late on the paper link above (no longer available ) I tried to make these with store paper but it seems flimsy. I really want to use pattern paper or cardstock but everything I come across is thin. What brand was this and any suggestions of where to get a heavier paper so that it's not so flimsy? Thanks so much!
everything was listed and linked under the video and the brand as well (MFT - My Favorite Things) - they make tons of patterned papers and there are plenty to choose from here: bit.ly/3l3tVYL - I hth!!
I have my mailing address posted in my Happy Mail Haul videos and on my blog under the RAK/Happy Mail Haul category. No one needs to send me anything tho!! I have a few left over in the package (that I literally hid in my office so that no one (including me) gets into so that I have 'em for future projects lol!) :) :) :)
So cute. I had no idea that there were dies designed for the nugget packaging!
Just adorable!!! I may be late for Valentines, but of course endless possibilities.

I love this!!! I can see this being used for so many things: wedding favors, baby showers, graduation parties.
These were very very cute and adorable.....what child wouldn't want to get candy for Valentines Day...........love it.....

I love this tag & die set so much. You did an awesome job on these Amy.
Looking at the thumbnail I thought those were rolls of washi tape LOL. Super cute way to give classroom treats for any holiday!

So cute. I just got my order and cannot wait to try. Thanks for the inspiration.
Cute project, Amy! And kudos to MFT for including the nuggets. That’s like including the batteries with a new toy.

I love these. So cute. I received my MFT goodies yesterday. I going to make these for my sons Valentines for his class.
Awesome, thanks for sharing! These will be perfect to have at our granddaughter’s birthday party next month and they look so easy and fast to make!
I was thinking that they'd make great little party favours when I was making these lol!

So adorable!! Amy, I predict your video is going to sell out MFT's supply is seconds! You rocked it!
That is ridiculously, crazy cute!
We have a bulk barn in Ontario wonder if they would carry them or something similar...they are so cute!
I have seen them at our Bulk Barn on Vancouver Island
Love those tags.
Loved these!! I had to order them!! Nice job! TFS
These dies are on my list to get next.
I'm not sure why I watched past the bit where you said they were difficult to get hold of in Canada because I'm in England ...
Anyway they are very cute.
I’m in Ontario. We have to find a supplier for the Nuggets! Love this idea! Something else to order from MFT
Soooo cute ❤️ love it thank you for sharing.🍫
Those are adorable!! ❤️❤️
Those are adorable!!!!
Those are super cute.
So cute and great video...tfs
Adorable!
These are so cute!

that's what I was thinking.
A die cut piece of paper has smoother sides. But this is just me. I would totally use the die for the wraps.
I'm terrible at cutting so a die is very convenient 😂
Hi! It is. I have done this for craft fairs in the past. It’s just a strip of paper cut 1x3, so much faster to cut in bulk.
For something this small, it doesn’t really matter the sides. Once you wrap the candy it will flatten out. Especially because you are just using patterned paper. If it were cardstock, that would make sense, because it’s thicker paper. But because it’s thinner, it won’t matter.
Just too cute❣️
So fun! ❤😘
These are awesome
I think because we have Canadian Hershey...we can't get our hands on the nuggets...we used to be able to get the Hershey Assortment here...and now they have a Canadian version...ugh!
I know right - it's annoying sometimes when you can get one type of the same brand of candy here or there lol
I find the nuggets at Bulk Barn in Canada.
Wow, really? That's awesome....thanks so much for sharing that!
I'm going to have to go to the one in the city and see if they have them b/c that would be perfect if they did!
Great tutorial ❤️
Darling!!!

@@PrairiePaperandInk Thank you for the update. :) Appreciate it! When you make these- are they pretty sturdy?
Where can I purchase this kit and the nugget holders
everything I use is listed and linked to in the description box under the video
Is there an address to send you the candy nuggets at?
