I do like some pieces, but as a whole I'm not necessarily impressed. I feel that Nicolas Ghesquiere has done many gorgeous and innovative collections for Balenciaga; this season and last season has seriously been lacking. He certainly has the creativity but I don't think he's pushing enough. The printed galactic sweaters are just yawn and the overly boxy tops and mini jackets are just not flattering on the body. Clearly he has made magic (spring 2009) he needs to go back to that place!
