All I’m saying is, for a first game from what was once was an animation studio, it’s not terrible. The graphics and specifically the animation come to mind, both being of professional quality. I can’t get enough of the buttery smooth reloads, like the double shotgun reload… crispy critters man.
I desperately want to believe this game is an intentional commentary on modern AAA gameing but at the same time it's far more likely that it's an earnest attempt to stand out by turning everything up to 11.

Instead everything felt clunky and like everything didnt fit together. The main character is supposed to be russian, isnt he? Instead of having an accent like most everyone else, we have an early 2000’s action game “crispy critter” protag. It feels like the game had so much potential and then they squandered it
That's not how accents work. A Russian would have a Russian accent when speaking English, but the characters in that game aren't speaking English. It's translated into English for the English-speaking audience, but the characters are actually speaking Russian. It's their native language, so it doesn't make sense to have an accent. Like, do you really expect that in, say, a French or a Chinese movie dubbed into English the dub actors should imitate a French or Chinese accent? It would only come out as mockery. In Soviet Union we had movies where the events were set in other countries, like The Three Musketeers or Sherlock Holmes. Would you also complain that Russian actors spoke Russian in those movies without mocking French and English accents respectively?
It's interesting to see how porn-mainstreamification affects video games. I don't know how to feel about it though. As a degenerate, it's definitely distracting when you're trying to sweat.
