Theres a video somewhere where they've gathered up all the great Mr O's, plus an extra couple of huge names, on a stage, doing a sort of mixed banter and BB history chat in front of an audience. Someone there mentions that he thinks that Lou could have been maybe the greatest of all time, if he hadn't pursued movies so early on instead. The others agreed. So... the community might not have that view of him, but the GOATs of the sport do. I see that as much more honorable, than if it would have been the other way around.
Lou had one of the best builds genetically there was. 6'5" with size and symmetry....incredible. I love the 1993 Lou. Huge and even from neck to calves.

Lou Ferrigno is my favorite body builder/ work out icon of all time I grew up watching him in the Hulk and wore out a VHS tape of Pumping Iron. Thinking back to how those guys trained compared to today has led me to rethink what you "need" to train. Especially as I have had to put together a home gym in limited space and budget due to COVID.
