Another form of transition is from employment to retirement. I think Shell needs to put in a bit more effort there and pay their pensioners the correct pay rises and not use terms like the pension is capped. Use your discretionary powers to give your pensioners the deal they deserve once transitioned into retirement.
Well said Carl.........Shell seems to have forgotten who built this Company to be what it is today. Shell pensioners have been excluded from their "inclusiveness" policy.
Shell pensioners have seen their pensions eroded due to management not asking the trustees to match inflation for 2022 & 2023 despite a healthy surplus. This wasn’t an issue in the past when management were called upon to help their former employees. Why not now?
It’s a pity that this progressive company didn’t see, as part of their societal commitment, a responsibility to uphold their contractual pension terms for those in the UK (SCPF & SOCPF). There is still time to correct this misdemeanour. Make it part of your 2024 scorecard, Wael.
I wish the UK wonderfull and profitable years with the polluting, human rights violating, tax evading and moraly corrupted company shell😂
Socially commited😂
Shell does what is best for Shell.
We love SHELL.
The better group of shell ❤
Come on @Shell, do the decent thing. Take responsibility and pay those pensioners properly. They earned it.
You deleted my comment pointing out Shell’s action on cutting the real terms value of our pensions.
Not exactly showing care to Shell’s former employees is it?
Has any others with you to help absorb any of your emissions?
What about the other oil companies and their works sites?
Lots of investment plans but no effort to maintain pensions. Where is the Contributions Reserve Account when it's needed?
Everyone can work together, that way the other countries can be developed and more people can enjoy a better quality of life
Some backsliding here mirroring the backsliding on pensions indexation. Do o detect a trend?
I would rather use shell gas in my 2017 Nissan sentry then any other gasoline in our states, thank you shell😊❤❤
Very good for Shell brand😊
Please reconsider your stance with the UK pensioners. They built the company paying you a huge salary. Draw on your conscience and act compassionately
A lot of people are angry over climate change, and a lot of the animosity is misdirected.
It’s as simple as maintaining the other side of the equation, which is not going to be a small or easy task.
Everybody needs to work together and help each other.
It is That Simple
Sir my dream job is one day i will work with you people
It’s great to see you investing $10-15 BILLION in the energy transition in the next couple of years. You obviously have made BILLIONS in the last couple of years through the cost of living crisis and war in Ukraine. Pity though you treat your Pensioners with disrespect and contempt as you don’t give them a cost of living rise whilst you reward Shareholders. Why don’t you address the issues and concerns raised by this loyal ex employee’s.
strange all comments from Pensioners
Yes. SHELL.
Shell always likes to say that their greatest asset is the people who work fo the company and rightly so. Why is it that when these people retire and become pensioners, the company chooses not to maintain the value of their pensions?
👏 👏 👏
👏👏👏👏👍🇺🇲🇬🇧
A great many knowledgeable people are seriously challenging the climate change narrative however Shell seems to just be following along ?
Why not put effort and money into properly rewarding your pensioners for their past contributions to Shells success instead of inflicting an up to 11% real terms year on year reduction in their pensions. Poor show Shell , time to do the right thing !
Guess I'll buy gas somewhere else.
Synthetic fuels, synthetic fuels, synthetic fuels, synthetic fuels, synthetic fuels!!!!!
