This is why Nina's performance is unique. It's hard to know where she begins and Monk ends. Or vice versa. A small number of people get confused by that but I think it just adds to the brilliance of her shows. And, of course, the object of Nina's performances is to make people laugh using original thinking. Which not too many comics can do nowadays. Original and funny -- two very laudable aims. Nina never fails to stimulate her audience, be they in a theatre or, like me in Australia, on RUclips and the like. She brings to mind the fabulous and hugely entertaining Tina Turner's hit number, Simply the Best.
That is the thing though, isn't it. They are both different and the same person. The way the narrative is woven between both realities is truly awe-inspiring. It feels like comedy and a thinly veiled plea for help.
It's so great to see you and Monkey again on RUclips , your videos are truly engaging and the humor grips the intellect, Classic moments that rise to moments of genius of creative dialog and introspection. You can actually get people for even a fraction of a second believe they are listening to two individuals having a conversation, that's genius, but too do it for 5- 10 minutes, is truly masterful. I'm sure kids that can watch some of the cleaned up conversations are captivated. It's so wonderful all these moments have been recorded and will be viewed by Millions of people and make Millions laugh and smile, and be amazed. Thank You Nina and Monkey, for making my day so many days over.
Sometimes I think the laughs at the things Monkey says are genuine. Like she has a talent to disconnect what Monkey is going to say from her own thoughts too much until she makes Monkey actually say it.
Absolutely brilliant, I genuinely laugh out loud on every video and it really puts you in a good mood so thank you for making us laugh. Im not implying you need or are endorsing drug use, but I watched a couple of videos after taking some gummies and that took it to a whole new level !
To borrow from those other Bristish comedians: Immanuel Kant was a real pissant Who was very rarely stable Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar Who could think you under the table David Hume could out-consume Wilhelm Freidrich Hegel And Wittgenstein was a beery swine Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya 'Bout the raising of the wrist Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed John Stuart Mill, of his own free will On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill Plato, they say, could stick it away Half a crate of whiskey every day Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle Hobbes was fond of his dram And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart "I drink, therefore I am." Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed
How quickly the conversation flips from Nina to Monk. No time for a pause, no thinking time. It's quicker than instantaneous. It creates a spooky affect,, if you don't perceive Monk as being separate. The conversation was just getting interesting when it cut. We need a part 2.
we all know really what he is, but its getting seriously harder to tell, the flow is just becoming so natural....thanks Nina, as always sincere best wishes, PS. mad ? and stunning, what's wrong with that ?
Omg hehe I came across ur channel and binge watched it all only a few days ago. Been sadly watching other things tonight trying to stop craving content monkey now you upload a video 21mins ago!!! Yaaay ❤
I am divided between the great affection I have for Monkey and the unlimited admiration I have for Nina. Both give me elements to laugh and means to get closer to myself and as far as I understand both are part of what is called REFLEX from the Greek: returning to yourself and knowing why you do what you do and how you do it, right?
Ever have a day filled with weird coincidences? The video I watched before this one was of a guy who keeps snakes and one of the females had just eaten the males and I'd been watching Red Dwarf earlier - episode named Ouroborus
At 64 I just discovered Owen Barfield and found I use the same philosophical language he used to use. Next, I will return to Schopenhauer and get reading the autobiography of Thomas Merton. I like Monkey's attempt at being philosophical we need more thinkers in the world.
This video worries me as we can see a the beginning of a fracture in the relationship between Monkey and Nina. While I do appreciate their dynamic, I'm concerned that this could be the beginning of the end of their partnership and Monkey could be considering a solo career. I hope not, but the fact remains that Monkey delivers most of the comedy, and Nina simply serves to set up.
One day I’ll find some who will look at me the way Monkey gazes at Nina. ❤️
Those drugs are mostly illegal unless prescribed by a licensed shaman
@@steveharrison3007you misspelled charlatan 😉
dead behind the eyes with a hand up the arse? hey, if that's what you're into, go for it lol
All you have to do is find someone whose eyes are marbles :)

It is mind boggling how real you make these conversations seem to be.
❤
You are centuries ahead of every comedian on the planet, I’ve got so much admiration and love for you guys!
Nina, your illusion is so freak'n convincing, I'm blown away.
Just love Nina. She is the absolute best. These clips are just gems. Thank you.
I love the darker comedy - takes me back to the lockdown therapy series
This is genius, pure and simple. Well, not that it’s simple. Nina has a rare brilliant talent. ❤

Monkey is lucky to spend all that time with Nina. Lol. Seriously your amazing Nina. Beautiful also😍

Nina, you are such an awesome talent!!!!! Brilliant!!!!
This is absolutely mesmerizing!
Mesmerising?

It's a comedic pause to prepare herself for the next lines.
Talent? Or psychosis?

You and Monkey always trying to make a new wall … just to break it! Bertolt would enjoy.
Nina, you are brilliant.
I enjoy the freaky mind stuff.
I find your videos spiritual in an honest human way, great conversations with self.
Always makes me laugh. Thank you.
You're so awesome! You BOTH are.
Ourobouros - that's the name of the worm that eats itself.
Love philosophy as well as your talent and humor. 🤣🤣❤️

very kind of you to say so
Figured out how to channel the therapeutic voices in her head into a career. Brilliant!
It's impossible not to treat this in your mind as a conversation.
Utter genius! Stunning too
Love from Portland Oregon Nina! This animator loves your work!
She has perfected the Illusion 100%... everyone sees two people having a conversation
Still waiting for the Monkey / Randy Feltface crossover... Make it happen Nina...
Brilliant 👏👏
Masterful technique. Subtle & rich. Rarely erudite, but always on target.
236 views in 10 minutes Nina! Is Monkey surprised at how loved he is?
I just rediscovered your content and I cannot get over how authentic you and monkey(you) are.
Nina, I alwayz love watching u n monk!! Keep it up!!
It’s saying something you think would make people laugh but wouldn’t say it yourself and it’s fucking great ❤

'Bout the raising of the wrist
Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will

Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle

So funny when you essentially make yourself laugh! 😂
Very like Ray Alan in technique, very good
Oh, rabbit wormhole, not Rabbit wormhole. That’s a relief.
brilliant !!! Love your work Nina !! 😊
she is a comedic genius!
You are the best,Nina!
I like the fact that monkey is a different personality from Nina. He is the lead charactor in the conversations and Nina is supporting act. 👍🐵
Keep going, Nina- you're getting deep !
Next level brilliance. Nina's quite polished as well. Might take a liking to this new see you next tuesday sidekick.
this is so perfect for youtube
I will always perceive 2 characters in these conversations. And maybe lot of worms. In the rabbit hole. #muchlove #yourethebest

Has monkey had a bit of cosmetic work done? His face is looking fresh. 😂
Monkey is famous only because Nina gave him a hand. He should be more grateful.
