I just went to Post office now, it took me only 10-15 minutes to open a new account (IPPB). Required Aadhaar or Pan card and charged ₹200/- So easy to open..👍👍😊

Post Payments bank open karne ke baad uski kyc karke premium account mein convert kar do service ghar baithe mil jayegi
Post office mein sirf kyc ke liye visit karna hai usi waqt post office ka saving account ka form bhi bhar do.
Fir sab transaction kar paoge balance 2 lakh ke upar gaya toh Post office account mein transfer ho jayega.

In every aspect it is the worst bank account. They charge for virtual debit card, even for AEPS transactions, can you imagine!! Mobile app is average slow. You can open account from Post office, but to close account you have go to the home branch. Ridiculous.

You missed out on one thing. As you said for the opening of IPPB account, kyc has to be given and for that one has to visit the post office. But you forgot to mention that the charges of Rs.175 are taken to open the account & it’s not for free.
