I can’t believe I just watched someone find their nail tech live 😂 I always see those girls saying they cheated on their nail tech after being their client for years, and I’ve finally seen the start of the process!! His service was so good he changed your mind abt the entire industry
There are UV protecting gloves that you can use that leave only the tip of your finger free, if you do nails often that can come in handy’ wearing sunscreen also but honestly even if you do it once a month you spend maybe 5mn total under the lamp which is less than the sun exposure you get from being in your home next to a window or when you walk outside so don’t obsess over it too much
I LOVE when a tech can say that something is out of their skill level instead of just doing it anyways. While yes, we need to practice and get better at skills, but doing so on a paying client is a big no. And we appreciate clients that don’t try and force it or get mad about us being honest with you about our skills. We’re doing the best we can!
Honestly the nail tech is good, i Honestly cant relate to some people i saw here on yt where they're sitting there waiting for their nails to be done forbhow many hours when the nail tech i go to usually does my nails in an hour or two if the design is complicated. I also take about 1-2 hrs if i did my own nails
My daughter goes to nail salons and shes there less than an hour depending on what designs she wants and never pay more than £40 which is $60. US videos i see have like 3 or 4 clients all day and cost $80-180 (£60-£140)

the thing that worked for me was painting it really cool/prettily so i wouldn’t want to mess it up by picking at my nails. and i think you can find a type of nail polish that tastes super bad that’s for nail biters as well
