For some reason Arnold Kappeler from Bethesda, MD has an axe against Cooper. Cooper fell into the same thing as my son and that is that he wasn't 5 on time to start kindergarten in Texas. Cooper is very much age appropriate for a Freshman (Sophomore in the next school year).

Obea was 16y90 when he ran a 1;49.16 in a race paced and won by Michael Granville (Arcadia, Apr. 09, 1995). Later in 1995 (Sep. 02, 1995; 16y235d), Obea ran the 400m in 45.14. If I did my math correctly, your age here is 15y158d. BTW, the under-16 is held by Max Burgin (Great Britain) with a 1;47.50.
