She’s beautiful! I think the bun hairstyle is the same style they use to do in the parks at the Bibbdi Bobbidi Boutique. The pink dress always reminds me of when the stepsisters destroyed it. 😢 I’ve noticed in the stock photos on the website Cinderella seems to have ringlet curls, if you take her hair down it will be wavy. I thought that was interesting.
Thank you for sharing this full review of everything in her collection. Everything is lovely. My favorite is her Day Dress. I really like all 3 of the girls' casual outfits. My daughter is almost 18 and when she was little, she had the cutest outfits that were either teal and brown or pink and brown, so I love those combos. Thanks for sharing the frog options from ILY and Fisher-Price. Both are really cute. I've saved my kids' Fisher-Price to give to my grand kids some day, so adding the Tiana and frog to that collection would be fun. :)
@@rainbowunicorncat1 Pink and brown was so trendy that my daughter had her retainer made in those colors. The gal who makes them had never made brown before. :) It looked really cool, though.
I loved seeing you show your Cinderella doll and her outfits. This doll is the most nostalgic for me and Ariel second. Tiana is adorable but I didn’t grow up with her story. Also I want Claudie to feel special a little longer. ☺️ I may get a doll later but for now I have ordered Cinderella’s two outfits and Tiana’s work dress. I can’t wait to try them on my dolls. 💕
She is! I personally believe it the magic dress changing scene! I used to be mesmerized by the Sailor Moon’s transformation, and when Frozen came out I remember Kat and her friends were crazy about Elsa’s dress transformation scene as well.
I think Cinderella is my favorite from this release, which seems to be an unpopular opinion. I just haven’t gotten used to the Nanea mold on Ariel, although it is growing on me and I am still deciding if I can just use Claudie as my Tiana. I have nostalgia for Cinderella since I remember watching that movie on TV as a kid (Gen Xer). I also love her two additional outfits. My ideal would be to have 2 Cinderella dolls and take the bun down on one of them, but that won’t happen unless there is an amazing sale. I’m wondering if that special Costco ballerina doll from 2 years ago with the curls would also make a good Cinderella alternative 😊
I bought Cinderella's collection with my rewards. I'm glad I did because the AG website currently says the doll is already backordered to March 8. However, I guess that could change.
Another great video from you! I truly enjoy hearing the excitement in your voice as you go through all the details. As you know, my Cinderella will transform to Barbie when I get around to it. The only thing I’m concerned about is I did see some photographs of her hair down, and some people said it’s really thin. I guess I have to think about what I’m going to do. I did look at Doll of a Kind website and saw the wig that you mentioned and I have it in my cart but I’m not too sure I want to take her wig off. Oh well i’m not in a rush to figure it out.🥰.
The bangs for Cinderella was very easy to do for me. I just sprayed it with water and wrapped it around my finger and honestly her bangs came out beautifully. I let her hair down and curled it all over and came out perfect. I love her working outfit so much. Everything about that outfit is beautiful! The pink dress is also gorgeous and awesome material. Every single outfits of this entire collection is gorgeous and perfect.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THE VIDEOS ON ALL THE PRINCESSES. I MUST AGREE WITH YOU THAT THE DAY OUTFITS ARE THE BEST. I PLAN TO PURCHASE ALL THREE DAY OUTFITS. MAYBE I GET TIANA AND ARIEL IN THE FUTURE.
I do love those "glass" slippers! I'm on the fence about getting this doll - I *might* later on, but I'm also wanting to wait and see what the Frozen sisters will look like. I have 3 Blair dolls - 2 I found at the thrift store for under $10 each! So I'm thinking about getting a blonde wig and making my own version of this Cinderella with one of them. I do want her "rag" dress - it's so good! And with Jack and Gus Gus - yes, it's a must have! Not sure about the pink dress, but I will probably end up getting it at some point. Thanks for this review!
I enjoyed your video and I would love to see you restyle Cinderella’s hair. I just ordered my today. So I’m hoping to see what you do with her bangs. Thanks again!
I love Cinderella and all of her outfits. The day outfit is gorgeous. I love every thing about this one. The dress, the apron, the hair bow, handkerchief and the shoes. The pink dress is absolutely gorgeous and very good quality. I love dress, shoes, headband and the little accessories. My three favorite outfits are Both of Cinderella’s and Tiana’s work day outfit. Thank you again for sharing your wonderfully detailed video.
My Ariel and outfits arrived today and I love everything 🥰. My 125 is perfect as Cindy so I think I am going to pass on this one but those slippers are TOO CUTE so who knows, maybe with rewards 🥰
I think the mice and the fairy grandmother didn’t have a huge fabric stash and did the best they could with the materials on hands. . . Which is very part of the older stories.
Cinderella is very pretty! Her blue ball gown is very much like the Cinderella you meet in the Magic Kingdom. I have no plan to buy her though. As a baby boomer the pink dress is my favorite. LOL because I rarely saw the movie as a child but read the story book often and loved the pink dress in the book. I was thinking that Elizabeth Cole would make a convincing Cinderella in this dress. They have the same face mold , blue eyes and earrings. After seeing your review of the work dress I may get it. My other idea is Courtney wearing these outfits.
Now to decide between them all (for the present at least). I feel like Ariel's hair is irreplaceable. I can see how well Courtney can fake Cindy in those adorable outfits first. The 80s bangs will either be a hit or a big miss. 😂🤣
The bun is not cut off. They basically made a high ponytail and then folded the hair over into a bun, then sewed it to the wig. I don’t know how to explain it better, I tried to show it in the video the best I could
Buy some grossgrain ribbon the same width of the velcro and cut it at the same length for both sides of the hook and loop tape (velcro). Next, hand stitch the ribbon to the velcro on each of the sides of the velcro using the velcro as the anchor for your stitch covering it completely. Stitch all sides on both sides of the dress. Next sew snaps on anchoring them to the grossgrain ribbon or use what ever you want to use as closures. Hook and eyes just might work also. Problem solved.
You can also just buy velcro by the yard at a fabric store and cut a length of it, use only the “soft” side and stick that to your outfit when you open the velcro. It covers the rough side of the outfit’s velcro while you are putting it on your doll. Then once it is on, you just peel off the strip of “soft” velcro and close the outfit velcro. It’s hard to explain in words but it works great and I rarely snag an outfit anymore with this method
Yes of course but I was thinking of those who buy for children. They take it on and off again. I just came from the AG Orlando store and there were 5 yr olds and less walking around with the dolls. I don't see them putting on the velcro to get the dress on and off. That is what I was referring to. Thank you for the idea! @@chezfortine800
The doll is beautiful but the gelled hair is turning me away. I would not know how to "fix it". However I am looking forward to that video you are planning. If the hair is easily salvageable then maybe there is still hope for me to purchase her. I like both of her extra outfits very much. It's too bad the pink dress is prone to snagging. I probably won't display any of my dolls in that dress for the time being. I have curious cats!
I just purchased a second Cinderella to change her into the other two outfits. I let her hair down and it was a hot mess at first. All I did was add water and curled one strand at a time and it curled just beautifully when her hair dried. She looks very similar to the stock photo with her pink dress. Of course that one is professionally done. But I’m super happy with her hair done. I put her in her pink dress and it is gorgeous. Now I can leave the other with her original hair style. Both the pink dress and the working day dress are gorgeous and made of great material. The pink one is my favorite. I love it all. AG did an exquisite job on this collection.
If ag was giving Cinderella a 3rd outfit then maybe give her the wedding dress or nightgown cause the dress that's pink gets torn up and destroyed by the step sisters anyway and is seen in the movie for a while but again I see why playing re-creating sence fron the movie

I think it would , as a part of AG collector series. The “Game of Thrones” doll sold, in spite of its large edition size, and I really didn’t see a lot of kids at the store admiring her, I’m sure most of them went to collectors.
