- This Lateral Line fishing mission sees the boys once again accepting an invite from brother Gene for a strictly land-based fishing adventure. During this time of year, snappers tend to frequent the shallow waters, so the boys plan to use that knowledge to target snappers in the weedy areas.
While the boys have enjoyed plenty of fishing trips with Gene, they’ve yet to experience one of those epic days where everything just seems to go their way. This time it was just that, epic!

What a way to showcase NZ Nato. Shame about the cable, but shit happens. Fishing was amazing, landscape and wildlife drone shots were epic. Aluminium welds were stunning. Music as ever, was perfect for the show. Love your work!

What ever happened to the patrol build happening at hybridstreet4x4
The Toyota 105 series had been a crashed vehicle and needed a cert for the chassis. It had been inspected by a registered guy and was all good to go he gave a list of work needed doing ect but then when the vehicle went to the structural shop it changed Zone and a different guy inspected it and he wouldn’t give it a cert? bottom line is it was gonna take a lot longer then first thought to build it so it got put on hold. Hybrid street are doing a Isuzu build in the mean time. Chur chur

Fished that first spot in whiti in hopes to win genes landbase comp he did a few years ago but all we got was coastguard having to help us out but couldn’t complain to much was a cool comp and we won the kayak😂 bring back the strictly land base comp gene

One of the best youtube's channel ! Landbased in NZ is absolutely amazing. I used to live in Wellington and after years of practice and advice from locals i had been able to catch kingies, snappers, trevally, cods, gurnard, kahawai , billions of spotties and others... I'm in France now and I miss it so much ! Anytime i watch your show I'm back to NZ ! Thanks so much

Fully mic’ing up is just painful in my mind and that comes with a bunch of other issues (been there!) We are just trying to keep the lateral line fun 😁 easy is fun. I’m happy with what we get with my phone and good audio cables 🤪😂 chur chur 😎
