Rob…brilliant set up. Will you, pretty please, show us where you store everything and how you clean up at the end of a site visit?

Hi Clifford, We’ll see what we can show on our next trip out in a few weeks. In the meantime you may be interested in my ‘Colapz Waste Pipes and Caravan Locker Improvement’ video. I also mention service equipment in our Waleswood Caravan and Camping Park video. I first use this set up and show it in our Chatsworth Park video. The set up works a treat, thanks very much for your compliment and comment 👍. Hope this helps and best regards, Rob & Gail 😀

Hi Martin, Thank you for the compliment and your support 👍. I enjoyed doing this project but I’ll let you into a little secret, all that measuring and one hook still ended up being more than 9mm longer than the other, don’t think anyone noticed 🤫 . Have a good Christmas and all the best. Rob

Love it - I did the same with mixture of 1m and half meter pipes with built in push fit connectors some 90ºs and 45ºs - cost so little from a DIY store in Germany - probably a quarter of the collapse pipe system and vastly superior. Don't understand why UK vans have twin outlets my Hobby merge into one under the van so no need to do a join up. Love your stuff Rob - keep it up and thanks

Great minds think alike Chris 🤔 and agree it’s not an expensive job. I admire German engineering and design so I’m not surprised to hear your pipes merge under the van. I’ve come up with an idea to make a change to my external pipes so it will no doubt feature in a future video. Thank you for your comment 👍 and all the best, Rob

Another good idea Rob 👍 been told as adding a tee piece to act as a vent near the van waste outlet improves the drainage which I may try ... Good film 👌

    • @robswiseways5697
      @robswiseways5697  Год назад +1

Thank you Glyn pleased you enjoyed it 👍. You’ll have to let me know about the tee piece. On our van (probably the same for most vans) the kitchen sink and washroom basin are on one outlet and the shower is the other outlet. I would have thought one or the other outlet would act as a vent depending on what’s being used 🤔. Correct me if I’m wrong. All the very best, Rob

Excellent video Rob well produced and great content as usual
Had drainage issues myself and can’t understand why on some pitches the drain is higher than the caravan outlet .
Guess the owners must have conquered pushing water up hill!
Loved the graph at the end - took me back to my engineering college days - I half expected you setting some examples to do as homework !
Big thanks for all uploads hope you are both well and looking forward to Christmas
    Regards
    Howard 👍🏻

Thank you for your complimentary words Howard. I’ve had the ‘drain point higher than the caravan’ issue too. I did mention it to the CL owner and he agreed but I don’t know if he ever did anything about it 🤔 . I thought I’d squeeze a lecture in there Howard, thought it might make you smile 😃. We are both well thanks and looking forward to choosing and booking sites over the Christmas period. Thanks for your support and seasons greetings from us both 👍 Rob & Gail

    Hi Rob.
How neat and professional was that.
I use the white pipe down the side after seeing your other vlog. But use it with loft stilts and colapz pipe.
If I ever see that caravan on site I will know who owns it.😉
Great vlog mucker. Keep them coming.

I’ve recently purchased a pack of Colapz pipes but they’re still in the box. They may feature on one of my next videos 🤔. If we hear a tap on the door we’ll know who it might be 😁. All the best, Rob

Good idea but unfortunately this doesn't actually improve the drainage of the grey water from the van because the factory just clip the grey waste pipes to the underside of the floor. So if the van's level then the pipes are level too.

    • @robswiseways5697
      @robswiseways5697  Год назад +2

Hi Alan, I know what you mean about the factory clipping the pipe to the underside of the floor. When I set the caravan up I always level it front to back but purposely have a very slight fall side to side that’s unnoticeable so the water flows towards the outlets. This improves the flow along the factory pipes. Thanks very much for watching and your comment is appreciated 👍. All the best, Rob

I used this set up at Chatsworth club site in February and it worked a treat. Not for everyone obviously but thanks for tuning in 👍 Cheers, Rob

i want to run a Pipe under the caravan from front to back. hidden and screwed up
then on each end add a 90 corner like photo one...
then screw a tap connector to the 90 corner photo 2
The tap connector thread is 26.5mm (G 3/4 Inch... this was a amazon buy .
can you list me the to corners i need 2 types needed , and the pipe i require and clips if you have them.
the pipe amount i need is 7 meters so i may need a few joint connector also please.
      thanks.
      i will need
      2 plain 90 corners
2 threaded at one end corners
      7 meters of pipe.
      pipe clips ..10
      joints to make 7 meters.
      1 tin pipe sealant
This will save me connecting a long hose everytime i turn up to a touring pitch. with a touring caravan @@robswiseways5697
