Gr8 idea to go for 2nd hand car at first. By the time you plan for another brand new car y'all will be expert about how to handle a car.
While going for 2nd hand car take someone who knows about car. Preferably an experienced mechanic if you know any or an experienced driver or someone who knows about car.
Few tips to look for 2nd hand car from personal experience
: Remove the door panel rubber, the edges should be smooth
: Check the car paint from all directions, a color variation means accidental and a bubble in a car paint means it's either repainted or defect from company. Such places rust quickly.
: Open the car engine bonnet and check for any reconstruction, oil leakages.
: Check the car mileage, lesser the better. same with model, latest the best.
: Check car windows from all 6 sides, there'll be a batching no. , should be all same, otherwise it's changed.
There are always a chances of getting 2nd hand car almost perfect like a new.

Outer look is good but u must go for inner condition wether its 1st or end hand.i20 clearance is low plus its hundai conpany which spare parts cost high.i wud suggest u to go for alto or i10 for learning. Later on u can buy creta Kia or venue car or someday land cruiser or land rover .goodluck

You should check at car company showroom for preowned car. Like Durga Hyundai showroom,Koushal Hyundai showroom , Maruti Suzuki true value at sevoke motors showroom etc. Because they exchange their new car to old car of customers. So they will sell old car through preowned car at their showroom and they keep all brand (second hand car). It’s more reliable buy at respected car company showroom. (PRE OWNED CAR) because they certified the car engine and etc. But it might be little bit costlier than outside secondhand car seller.

Check door panel of car weather it's accidental or not, condition of wheels, it shouldn't be wear & tear, obviously engine should be in good condition, scratches outside body of car doesn't matter. Congratulations both of u guys 🤞💚

try buying car from authorised dealers who deal with second hand cars like mahindra first choice or maruti suzuki true value in that case the chances of fraud and getting damaged car is quite less plus you can always take action against them insted of local sellers.
