FYI THERE HAVE BEEN A FEW SCAMMERS RESPONDING TO COMMENTS, IT IS NOT ME. I WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR ANYTHING OR ASK TO "DISCUSS THINGS FURTHER" I REPORTED THE SCAMMER AND HID THEM FROM THE CHANNEL. Me and Tuck are here to give back, not take. We will never ask you for anything besides asking that you SHARE THIS VIDEO IF YOU ENJOYED IT! 😁 And check out my garden shop at teamgrow.us
I’m Adela barel from Manitoba and I have been watching your videos for about 3 years now I am going to grow my own. Let’s hope it works well. Thanks for all your videos.. my number would be 119
Yeah, this is unfortunately the way it always goes when a good person/company/couple decide to give back to their community, and because they aren't "well known" they get their identity basically stolen. I just always keep in mind that if people ask for things, it's generally a scam! Specially of they contact you for something. Still though, thank you, both you and tuck are amazing gardeners. I too have bought a selection of new seeds from rare seeds because of your videos. I cannot wait to move and be able to grow them soon. Thank you got all you both dool.
What?!?!!!!! I can’t believe it! I am so excited! Thank you so much James and Tuck! My wife and I, along with our guardians of the garden🐕🐕🐕 watch every episode! I cannot wait to get my GreenStalk and grow some Louisiana Strawberries🍓🍓
Got some pallets I couldn't pass up...then found this video just while wondering what to do with these nice discarded pallets. God is good.. nice work Jersey Joe!
As someone who is a huge fan of building with pallets. There is an important thing to look for when choosing pallets, especially if you're using them for gardening. All pallets have a stamp for the method used to kill pests. Only use pallets with a stamp that says "HT". HT stands for "heat treated" Other stamps mean it's been treated with heavy duty pesticides " MB" means Methyl Bromide. Choose those with an HT stamp. It's usually on the runners , sometimes on the inner runner
I’d give anything for someone to build some of these for me! They’re beautiful! I’m 74…hubs is 77 and can’t do this due to lymphoma…..WOW! I’d give anything!!! It looks easy but we’re too old and not in good health to do this…..so sad! TUCK is da best!!!!!!!
I found some old cedar fence wood that my church just took down. I brought home the sections and built 2 6'x 18" beds, then a 3' x 18" bed. The great thing about fence sections all the wood is usable and includes 2x4s
James, do I remember correctly that Tuck has a condition called "collapsing trachea"? If so, I have rescued many a little one with the condition...have two little ones with it currently. Trying to keep them off of steroids. Am using Hemp Oil and it is working wonderfully well. Keeps the trachea "relaxed". Just passing this along.....
Very straightforward and easy to follow DIY video for anyone starting out. Glad to see the boss is supervising you too! ❤ That pallet wood is in very good condition. You were lucky there James! The pallets we get in the UK are very rough and you have to sand them down quite a bit. I have made a chair, coffee table, vertical planters for window boxes and plant hangers and bits and bobs. I just upcycled our old sandpit for a bed. They also make super easy compost bins! I would have used the thicker central pieces that are square to do the corners. Pick two sides to over hang to sit on and the long sides to have flush to make and add a hoop house frame. You can also line the beds with old compost bags to help prevent the wood from decaying against the wet soil. You just need to make sure they are well sealed before filling to avoid giving slugs and snails a hiding home. Congratulations to Carly! Is the competition open to people outside of the US? I couldn't see any of the TOS regarding this? I think for the same prize value of the vertical towers and beds, you could do a giveaway with a variety of covers, like fleece, membrane, mesh, shade and throw in some tomato clips. Vertical staging/ mini green houses are also very useful as are cold frames. Power tools is also a great option as i have seen some sponsors for those like the hand saws and battery powered pruners? If just open for US people, then you could also do an international giveaway, where by you send seeds or a kneel pad/ merch or something like that. We all love a giveaway but isn't it a bit expensive to do it every week or is it just for a short period of time? Great video James and Tuck! ❤
My father and I made a raised bed out of pallets last year just like this but made a trellis to attach to the back and we anchored it into our green house. :)
With my back issues, I was thinking I could make some of these and maybe keep from breaking any more bones. (Osteoporosis). I am so glad you posted this. The idea was in head, just never built anything. I enjoy watching your videos...especially with Tuck! My Tinker Belle and Henry can't wait for veggies to start coming!
Great video James!!! Always love your raised bed instructions! So easy and affordable! A great option for lots of new gardeners. Thank you for all the fabulous information you share with us!!! Big love to both you and Tuck💖

James is the man...great gardener
Make sure the pallets are only heat treated not infused with other toxins especially since they are for food production.
I just want to say, your gardening energy is best in class. Thank you for all of the knowledge.

This is a great and easy-to-do raised bed construct. Local church wants to do raised beds - and this is a timely solution to their needs !!!
