The current meta is stupid they gotta nerf the grouping of the first 4 shots for the m4a1s couse any bot can crossmap burst their enemies way too easily that would put the aug back as the undisputed long range choice establish the famas as the eco ar and increase the usage of the a4 again. As for the smgs they should nerf both the mp9 and mac10 a little
You have all these axis - good close range, good long range, good vs armor, good vs unarmored, cheap with high bounty, etc and they need to fit guns into different archetypes so they are all situationally beneficial if you are thinking about what you're doing.

let me reminds you that the CZ, since 2016, its reward was only 100 (compared to every other pistols, having 300), and ONLY RECENTLY (on May) got itself back to 300, to on par with everyone else

My idea on how they could buff SMGs:
MP7 needs more damage, MP5SD needs more damage or better armor pen, i think P90 is fine (in my opinion it feels as good as the MP9 but it has a higher price, any buff would make it too strong), UMP could get a smaller spray pattern (and maybe a price increase for that?), i have no idea what could be done to the bizon.
But in the end, i'm master guardian player so someone with more experience probably comes up with better ideas
feel like ump is already realllyy accurate, i reckon it would benefit from being a bit cheaper

I feel like there should be a smg that bridges the gap between the $1500 mp5/mp7 and the $2350 p90. Like take either the mp5 or mp7 And buff it up a bit and make it cost $1700-1900

@@josephon23UMP has a larger recoil kick and has more spread than the MP9. They need to reduce the recoil kick in order to make UMP useable again. The problem with UMP back then was the damage drop off is too similar with the CT rifles so they nerf it and that's fine by me. but they don't need to also make the accuracy and recoil to be worse too and then reduce the price and calling it a day.
MAC10 doesn’t need changing. The MP9 needs reduced fire rate, the PP Bizon and UMP can stay the same. The UMP works for some people and that’s fine. P90 can stay the same too but the MP5 and MP7 need fixing. They’re worth more than the MP9 and both are worse than the MP9 in almost every way. Also yes, the Galil being insanely good but Famas being this bad needs fixing too
As a not experimental type of guy, i might have a lot of experience with some guns and know nothing about the other. But i have never gotten an opportunity where i went "u know what would be better than an ak rn? A P90." Idk whats good and bad about it expet that its hella expensive
I have played around with the Bizon and it feels like a automatic Glock,poor damage untill a headshot
@@puckypenguin4u766 P90 is the perfect counter to people playing on 100+ ping. Because of the desync issues with high ping players just swing wide with a P90 to beat it

The problem with the Bizon is that it has a bad recoil pattern,so trying to spray and aim for the head while trying to get advantage of the large mag is hard
The sawed off need to be buff heavily. It's the equivalent of MAG 7 but lot less accurate and lot less range. My suggestion to that weapon is to increase movement speed the same speed as a Mac-10, reduce the spread a little bit so that comparable with the nova, increase the cyclic rate to make a faster RoF, and reduce ammo capacity to 4 since it's a damn sawed off the whole magazine tube got cut off so it's logical to have 3+1 capacity instead of insane 6+1.

tbh i liked it when the aug was in meta, wouldnt mind if they brought back the old fire rate and upped the price a little more. make it feel like an alternative for ct teams with a good economy but no saved ak's or rifles from the previous round. Serving as not a default weapon but an intermediate option for when you're able to pick up an AK. And I'd make it so that both m4's are 2900, ct econ needs the main rifle to be cheaper and there's no reason the a4 is more expensive when its almost perfectly equal.
Make the UMP great again. Back when I played CSGO a lot around 2015-2016 I think it was, the UMP was my go to eco gun and that shit put in work. Nowadays it feels so mid

AUG and Krieg still need buffs in my opinion. They’re almost entirely ignored now. There has to be a middle ground for them where they’re quite right. Obviously that’s not the case anymore.

Don’t know if you remember my comment from the last video, but I want to say you did a good job with this video, you clarified your point a lot better than the last one and I think this is what you were striving for in the first place, and I commend that. And I saw some of the points I brought up in my comment which were appreciated, whether intentional or not. Good on you for working on making your content the best it can be for your audience
I usually agree with you, but the “meta” you are talking about are just game mechanics. Guns that cost more will be better, guns the cost less and still perform well are eco guns and they do that for reasons, the famas has bad spray because you aren’t necessarily supposed to spray with it, which is WHY it’s like 1 of 2 guns that have burst. You’re SUPPOSED to shoot it in bursts.
The burst is really good. It actually makes the famas usable but I think it needs a little buff to the base gun
The MP9 is just straight better than the entire SMG class and is only 1250 though 💀.
One change I think they should do to famas is to make the switching from auto to burst silent. Switching from burst to auto depending on situation is very useful but the sound gives away your position. This one minor change i think might make people use burst more often. Could also apply to the glock.

My idea for a balanced meta:
1. there will be 5 classes of guns: pistols, shotguns, smgs, rifles and snipers.
2. every gun is a one tap headshot wo helmet
3. every rifle is a one tap with helmet
4. every smg is a 2 tap with helmet
5. every gun in a class costs the same
Like it or not, this balances everything. Now the difference between a UMP and a MP9 is the style (superior option)

Smgs in general do a lot less damage so if you're getting owned by run and gun, then that's on you to even allow them to gun and run. Play from distance.

The burst fire for the famas makes it more accurate
This is what needs to happen:
Mp9 needs to be made more inaccurate at range, Famas made more accurate and made $200 cheaper
Ump needs be given the current range and less damage drop off as the MP9 but slower fire rate - end result should be mp9/mac10 is the rush gun and UMP is a mid range gun
P90 needs damage buff, should basically serve as anti eco
Aug needs to be 1 shot head shot but be $3200 and wider spread after first few shots and slightly slower fire rate (needs to be a long range 1 Tap gun)
A4 needs a slight damage buff at range (A1 being more accurate, cheaper and more damage at range is stupid)
CS2 is made to be a simple game without discussions abt guns being too op or shitty
I completely removed the famas from my loadout. If you need to buy a low 2000 weapon, it's much better to get the P90. It doesn't matter if you get a higher kill bonus if lose the round and is stuck to low loss bonus compared to the winner of the round.
I always found it interesting the cheapest smgs are the best options and the kill reward on them is crazy for the price and how good they are

Literally the whole game with its plethora of guns, has only a few multi-function guns and the rest are 1 use, 1 situation guns. Both teams full buy rifles and the mac 10 do almost everything acceptably. You buy a PPbison, M249, sawed off, or Nova and its like wasting money most of the time.
The MP9 is overrated.

Valve buffing and nerfing stuff has historically been messy.
M4A1S on a long term loop of being OP to poor. Krieg/AUG meta then absolute demolishing of the Kriegs usefulness. Etc.

First of all you should be able to buy all guns instead of limiting yourself to only five in each category. It's fine to keep the current buy layout where you have the five you use the most, but add a "second page" or something where you can buy the remaining ones.
for real just bufing the famas could really help the ct economy a lot if it was actually worth it to buy it sometimes

I miss the old old old meta, when all pistols worked, mp5 was the only SMG I bought, and galil and famas were great and ak and m4 were the gods. Good old 1.6. although autos were way overpowered back then, nobody used them because of the insane price. It was like 7k for a while

The Famas is actually balance like it is irl. It's a CQB bullpup. It should not be as accurate because it is not in irl. It works well to have it on CT because it should be an ambush weapon while guarding a site. I think the fire rate should be higher and spread lower. But it should not be as accurate at distance as the Galil.
Also the MP9 is a very accurate weapon, the Mac is a little op. Irl it is just a spray and pray.
AND we need to delete deagle. That pistol completly breaks balance in game

FAMAS does not need a buff, its perfect. Nothing needs to be done to the SMGs, they are all useless and come down to individual preference imo... there is almost no reason to ever buy an SMG
Famas is really good. Burst with it (I don’t mean use burst mode) and you’ll see the TTK is actually really good. I think the problem is spraying with it is very difficult at medium ranges but it’s super rewarding weapon if you’re precise. I think the guns are fairly fine where they are, there was always be a meta in counterstrike and you don’t need every weapon to be lasers.

Tbh I think the main rebalances I would recommend is just reducing the price of the other SMGs to be similar to the MP9 and MAC-10. The UMP should 1050 tbh and the others should be like around 1200 (except the P90 which should stay at 2350)
Yeah also idk if the smg's are bad cuz of their stats and need a buff or they are decent but are being completely outclassed by the Mac 10 and especially the mp9 and nerfing those would send thing back to normal

For the SMGs it should definitely be like this:
MP9/Mac10 - low damage, mid firerate
UMP - high damage, low firerate
MP7/MP5 - mid damage, high firerate
The Bizon and P90 can stay the same.
try burst famas you can kinda full if you master the recoil and get a waaaaay better accuracy while standing and shooting. they need either to buff the famas or nerf the burst mode again and that would make the famas even more weak so they definitely need to buff the full auto mode on famas man and give it back to us in the meta.
to me nowadays you just feel too much like you needed that m4 or ak to get the extra kill or just get it..
I think the mp7 is completely solid and actually a much better at range weapon than the mp9 so if it got dropped down to like 1250 instead of 1500 i think thats a huge buff to the weapon and wed see alot more play with it and personally i want to see that because its potential is really nice.
CS should have only had 4 guns, AWP, M4s, AK and Deagle, nobody uses the others
The sg was never used. It then became meta when people started using it, and it took forever for the community and pro scene to figure that out. It was not because of some random buff
SMGs and shotguns are the main issue in this game right now. I would love to see a new utility item since the only changes we've had were minor adjustments to smokes & mollys. Adding more utility options would massively change the game in a good way for a tactical shooter like this.
Famas also need to cost less. Somewhere around $1700-$1900. When you can buy full armor and an mp9 for close to the same price. It doesn’t make sense to buy the Famas
Just make everything viable, no need to have a meta, give everything upsides and downsides like cost and stats, you should be able to use whatever and still frag out
There needs to be a reason to buy the AUG and SG, just that the reason doesn't outweigh the M4/AK reason. Id suggest M4A4 needs the same close range damage that A1s has, because it fires faster but kills slower at close range and to me, that makes no sense.
Also, remove the AWP completely. Something I felt was needed since 1.3
The famas first shot accuracy is goated in burst mode
1: it's not. 2: the other two shots go straight into the sky, making the effective magazine on burst only 9 bullets (25 / 3 with a remainder) and a ridiculously slow rate of fire between shot 1's. 3: even if you HS on shot 1, great you've done 80 damage and are dead before you get the second burst out.

The Famas in burst-fire mode has better accuracy than the AUG (unscoped).
Let's also leave the Galil alone. It's a great, cheap option for a substantial AR. It has better armor penetration and is 3/5 the price of an M4A4 (3000 vs. 1800). Other ARs have better range (except for the FAMAS lol) and the Galil does only slightly less damage than an M4A4, but it has the same rate of fire, same kill reward, and five more bullets.
For such a low price it's insane how well you can come back from an eco disadvantage with the Galil.
Lmao people forgot about the existence of R8 and M249, also they made the R8's reserve 8 but make it one hit kill to vest (when shot in the abdomen) instead of 99 damage, but no one talks about that XD
Just add +5 more bullets in one round on the Famas! 😅 (I don't understand why it has only 25 bullets 😂)
mp9 is more accurate, but it also needs to land lot more bullets at range to kill, and at that point recoil is all over the place, or you have to take your time with burst and move. As inaccurate famas is, it's still a rifle in terms of long range kill consistency.
It does not need to change, CS is like chess, pieces are balanced, yet strategy is what gets you far
CS is the only game where you will get out gunned in CQB if youre using and SMG against an AR,they literally have no use and are only bought when you have no money to spent,after these 1-2 rounds you never use them again.
There is a huge problem with the balance of weapons in this game,its either AK or M4,anything else gets used more,and its nerfed once the pro complain.
It is extremely repetitive,you are forced to play with those two weapons otherwise youre always in a disadvantage,round after round,the same map,the same tactics,the same awful looking skins,the same awful sounding weapons,it gets boring.
I come from COD and mostly BF,in every BF game,even the shittiest,every weapon role has its place,you can literally play with anything as long as you support it with a certain play style,and BF has four times the amount of weapons and gadgets.
At least give us similar weapons to the existing ones since it seems so hard to balance,something that shoots like an AK but looks and sounds completely different,spice up the game a bit,make it a bit more diverse,every game is literally AK,M4,AWP maybe an XM,And two SMGs on low money rounds...it has gotten stale.
True. In retrospect, CS-like games feel repetitive (just point and click) as there is little to none gun balance adjustment. But I love how CoD have gunsmith system for players to mess around their fav weapons.

Actually, using the burst mode makes Famas a really good weapon.
The biggest change that they can make to the FAMAS is to reduce recoil on the burst mode, just like in the 1.6 and Source. And the FAMAS will become the new budget meta, just like in the 1.6 days.

1. Buff sg553 fire rate to 600rpm. 540rpm for a rifle is a black mark in cs history.
2. Ak and M4s shouldn't be better than aug/sg553, they just need to be best in price/performance ratio. A cheaper gun shouldn't outperform it's counterpart in most aspects.
3. Mp9 and mac10 are not too strong, the problem is they're best for the price. Lower every other smg price by 100$ (and probably even more for p90)
4. CS is known as one of the most balanced games, yet we have m249. Lower it's price drastically (~4000$), increase accuracy at least to famas/galil range
the Krieg outperforms the AK in a few situations but it is very situational, I wouldn't mind a small buff or reverting the price again back to $2750
