I guess the car represents how we are always under the care of our parents. No matter how old we are, no matter how independent we are, we always rely on our parents so so much. Only until they leave us, we realise how much we rely on them, and that is the time when we really start to be independent.
In this video, the car represents the love and care our parents give us and shows how sheltered are we. When the guy left the car and returns, you can see the transition in his expression. It seems like he knows he is no longer under the care of his Father, and wipe off his tears, driving into the future.

Each time I watched this kind of short film, my tears will rolled. I miss my dad after he died in 2015.
A very successful tear-jerker as usual by Butterworks. Well presented from the front view of a car throughout the film, yet viewers could comprehend and follow through with feel. Such a pain to lose a kin like father.

Man, at first I though of the same old stories of two person comes together and have an great and wonderful family then they divorced after have kids bt this one is different. These the stories im afraid to watch bc I know im gonna tears quickly after I know the father or who ever is the one care about him and dies.
