It's packed and handeld and on the way home😊. Ur view on the overall, unboxed state did it for me. TY. Hope bridge ain't to level for the neck radius. Seen the upgrade vlog, nice one to, very usefull info on how to install and what to install... (got a 335) it's diff with that bold on neck, so might be just an ok new sound here. Curious to hear its own acc sound fs. Always fun unboxing and play around on a new guitar.
My experience with Squier electronics has been to replace the pots and cap before assessing the pickups. The crap tone capacitor, in particular, will muddy the sound of any p'ups. It's a cheap upgrade that should be done regardless.
Is this the same skinny neck profile they used on the previous affinity Starcasters? I am hoping not as I found it too thin. I realize they changed the headstock to a normal Fender style instead the "unique" 70's accurate version on prior models.
@@MrTooter007 it actually ain't the thinnest one; an old squire strat here has a thinner neck, but it plays superb.. Great guitar: had to 'lock' the thrustrod, lower bridgeca bit: and done. Fretwork is wonderfull at this price. Finish is flawless. Tuners could be better. Unplugged it sounds inspiring, amped it's a nice adition as a '335 with a twang'. Very pleased with it.
Getting this in Olympic white to satisfy my Tom delonge needs

Yes it is! I love opening a new guitar.
some ppl gonna love the normal looking headstock instead of the original one 😂
looks rad. looking forward to the upgrades.
These are neat guitars. Ty
Thank you
Sienna Sunburst really suits this guitar.
This is really dope. Prefer this start headstock so much than the classic vibe one. And no pickguard make it look so clean
Such cool guitars. You should get a white one too and modify that to be a budget Tom DeLonge starcaster.

another nice one brotha!
Thank you!
I really like the finish.and the neck..But yeah you're right. The pickups/ sound bad. I know I'm listening to my phone but I believe it's obvious. Pex
I regularly email Fender to beg them to make a Lefty version... They stopped responding months ago....,😂
That sucks

This is my first starcaster. I don't have the experience to compare.
I think so; says "C" in specs, (easy to play thanks to its slim, comfortable "C"-shaped neck profile)
