    To prevent tangles, I keep my hair stretched at all times and moisturized. I always wash in sections not in twist anymore because I felt like my hair wasn't getting clean.

    i have straight hair and i already cut is so many times and it's still tangled, it only gets tangles on the back and I don't know why, i could brush my hair and 5 minutes later it's tangled again :(

      Using more conditioner would help.

    • @ccintillate6718

      maybe you could use something that weighs the back down slightly? Like use a leavine detangler/conditioner that would smooth your hair our, that might help it from retangling

    Hey there I love your channel and your girls are beautiful... I use to get SSK until I started oil rinsing and GHE. I cannot remember when I got one last, these two things have allowed my hair to never get too tangled and no SSK.. Love you all

    I wash my hair in sections. I also use plenty of moisturizer and plenty of oil usually a mixture of coconut and . My hair literally drinks up the moisture that I put in, so I'm usually doing the LOC method 2-3 times a week. Also I NEVER do wash and go's anymore. For me it's a total nightmare for single strand knots!

    • @DiscoveringNatural
      @DiscoveringNatural  10 лет назад

      Have you ever tested your hair porosity before? Wash and Go style is not my biggest style-fan... because of the knots. Although I like the ease of styling I totally am like you... NIGHTMARE!!

    • @soulstrength
      @soulstrength 10 лет назад

      No, I have not tested my hair's porosity before because I'm unclear on whether to test it with or without product. I'm thinking I should conduct the test after I have clarified my hair to get the best read on my naked hair, but everyone I've ever seen do the test has done so, clearly with product in it.

    • @DiscoveringNatural
      @DiscoveringNatural  10 лет назад

      To get the best result, you need to test on hair free of products. I have a video showing how to test.

    When I get tangles the most is when I wash my hair. I never would have thought I would wash my hair in sections, but that's the only way for me now. I very rarely wear my hair loose these days, it's always in a protective style. Sometimes right before wash day, I will let my hair down. Once washed, it's right back in a protective style for the next 2 weeks.

    some naturals think that the obession with stretching hair and manipulating ruins the point in being natural but I would have to disagree. If I do a wash an go. I could do it only once a week. I once did 3 wash and goes in one week and that was the worst thing I have ever done for my hair. i try to keep my hair stretched usually by doing twist outs or recently i tried a flat twist out. and currently am just wearing them in twists. but since winter has arrived here in mn i might try out wigs as a protective style

    As I have tried so many remedies for my hair and now finally got the perfect one so, If u are tired of tangled hair, and also wanna shiny & straight hair
    Use
    •1 egg
    •coconut oil
    •castor oil
    •olive oil
    •glycerine
    (All in an equal amount ) u can also add onion water to grow your hair fastly.
    Try it twice in a week and u will see the result 😊
    It really works for me.😊

    another way to avoid tangles: use slippery products only. lots of slip makes for easily detangled hair from wash day to wash day.

    I have naturally curly hair and it gets really puffy so I can't brush it but some of my friends have hair that they just run their fingers through and they move it around and it doesn't get tangled, I want that hair. What do I do?

    • @DiscoveringNatural
      @DiscoveringNatural  7 лет назад

      +Pink Champagne Everyone's hair is not created equal.. however, when your hair is detangled well and moisturized, it is not prone to tangles.
