Truly though there are scores of phenomenal singers in Rock/Metal right now - Ronnie Romero, Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson, James Labrie, Todd LaTorre, Anneke Van Giersbergen, Fabio Leone, Michael Sweet, Johnny Gioeli, Timo Kotipelto, Jeff Scott Soto, Noora Louhimo, Devin Townsend, Jari Maenpaa...the list could go on. We're actually pretty spoiled. I would argue no other genre outside of maybe Opera boasts as many truly gifted, talented vocalists as Rock/Metal does. Criminally underrated prodigies, all.
He sounds similar to Yannis Papodopoulos. You don't know him? Check him out. There is also a guy called Mystic that is making a tribute album for Crimson Glory and he sings with the same passion and very similar technique to Midnight.
