Flex is a legend. No idea where he finds all of these cars left to die, but he resuscitates and revives them by breathing new life into them. Well done mate. Keep up the good work! ❤❤❤
Yeah right....the last 30 years of their vehicles r crap.....in the garage a More than the road The old mechanical diesels are a different story Just like Volkswagen and audi
I love these old Mercedes vans. Amazing how the old diesel fired up so easily after all that time. That is real reliability. I bet few modern vehicles would do that after sitting for 15 years.
Beautifully, that you bring this old girl back to life on the road. I hope you can sell your cars, which you ever find and rescue, on good buyer in your county 👍
Ahh those Mercedes vans of the 1980s and early 90s! I remember seeing TONNES of those here in Belgium. Now those models have long disappeared but the recent generation Mercedes Sprinters continue to dominate our roads!
It's absolute madness when you see a vehicle like this composting in a field or scrubland so this bloke breathing new life into it is brilliant getting it properly on the road should give it another 15 years... GRT upload... watched one yesterday I think it was a Russian oil or water Bowser he got everything working and drove it around a field it sounded and looked GRT I just imagine it all fixed up clutch)gearbox and electrics fully working...👍
Especially since they don't have a engine to start haha but yes, after sitting for 15 years the lithium battery will not hold any charge, let alone the stupid computer systems refusing to power the motor unless everything is perfect and it receives the latest update from Tesla, and once it has verified with a remote Tesla service.... which the servers hosting that service went down 10 years ago
Mercedes Benz sitting abandoned long time need new battery engine is good condition awesome video friend bless you German vehicles keep bringing new videos soon flexiny it's moving congratulations
I learnt my trade on these and the early sprinters which basically had the same engine. The only real issue these ever had that I can remember was the gear linkage on side off the gearbox, sometimes they get stuck In two gears did not need no fancy computer just one size fits all spanner (🔨) 😁
Oh, I always waiting when you upload new video, thank you. By the way, could you write on film did you buy it or just found the cars on barn then you got free? Are you restore then you sell its? Thanks for the information. Regards
Hello. I would like to ask you. where do you find these cars? And why are they abandoned? Or in Europe it is easier to leave it on the street than to sell it to someone. Thank you for the video!
Hi. I've found some cars from car selling sites or some are from people. Most of cars are abandoned because they wont pass technical inspection or they have expensive issue to fix, sometimes its cheaper to buy new car. Here is not that hard to sell these cars but nobody wants to pay price that you ask. Most people want to buy cars here for metal price only.
There's a 208 petrol van near me. It's been stood for 24 yrs and i bet the a new battery, a service and fresh petrol it would probably fire right up. T1's were built to rust though.
In India this vehicle is called tempo traveller manufactured by force motors and only major difference between actual mercedes is they're made from leftover mercedes parts😀!
Mercedes is the best quality made car's I watch many videos like this mostly American cars but American can't compare to German in building quality. Mercedes after 15 years no problem like new American after 15 years have to take everything apart to get started 😂😂
We have old rusty 310D rusting away. Kinda shame. Damn that thing is slow. But, runs with WVO, doesn't need electricity, lasts forever and "turns on a dime".
Vocês poderiam dizer o motivo pelo o qual os carros foram abandonados, pra gente poder entender o porquê do dono ter deixado o veículo aí já que em pouco tempo vocês conseguem religa-lo.
You are lucky to find old cars in the wild. In my area, there is people of let's say a certain persuasion/lifestyle that will help themselves to anything of metal that is not bolted down to the ground. All in the name of recycling of course!
I love how he fires right away and starts within seconds of cranking.... after sitting for 15 years!
These old Mercedes are a reliable force!
Flex is a legend. No idea where he finds all of these cars left to die, but he resuscitates and revives them by breathing new life into them. Well done mate. Keep up the good work! ❤❤❤
He may get them running but most of them are so rusted that they can never be used in traffick again.

Thats why i absolutely love Mercedes, 540.000km, stands for years and starts like its brand new 🔥😍
Older mercedes I adore, but modern ones just don't have that same flare anymore
These old ones are great indeed. The new ones are absolutly crap with timing chain failure at 100.000km.

Man ofc old is gold
Only half a million KMs on the clock? That's still new... :P
For the second time...😉 the clock is overturned 😁
Those engines last forever

I am very sure that I will never see a video with the title “Starting abandoned Tesla after 15 years”.
Especially since they don't have a engine to start haha

I think a Tesla will never runs after 15 years abandoned … I hat this fucking Musk Car 🚘 I love my Mercedes Vito 112 Diesel ❤️
Even the tacho from this Benz can beat the whole system of a Tesla
So much advanced electronics in a tesla, you have to be happy if it works from day to day😄
@@terjetytland884 yep - and after 10 years abandoned you must pray 🙏 that hopefully the lights outside still works 🤣🤣
Fired up that quickly even after 15 years. Absolute unit. 👍
Man so many cool cars like this to restore... That one is awesome...
After a couple of burps and squeals, that engine ran without skipping a beat. ❤
Man just gotta love your videos! The effort you put on your starts its like minimum, greetings from portugal!
Thanks!
Wouldn't be a Mercedes diesel if it didn't sound like a robot chewing shotgun shells.
That noise would be mainly injector knock......common on old mechanical diesels
These videos are awesome! I’ve really learned a lot from these videos from cars!
Thank you!
Very interesting video. Mercedes commercial vehicles are not very common in my area, so I enjoyed seeing this one brought back to life.
Thanks for posting! No narration is the best thing on top of great work!
Great video flexiny, great work, started straight away, German engineering 👌, lovely old van👌😀👍
That started up very well considering how long it’s been sitting
Amazing! Congratulations @Flexiny for this great job! ✌🏻

Another classic and cool van from Mercedes Benz! These were still so popular to drive in the 90s, too. When I was born and a little kid...

That was pretty much on the button. Impressive seeing how long it's stood.
This is a good, reliable car. But it rots very well, too.
Those old diesel engines are absolute bulletproof and keeps on running forever! The rest of the bodywork just rots away like you’ve said!
It is expected on a 30+ old car with 500k km especially parked outside in grass with moisture.
@@chrisromanczuk1468 I didn't mean this particular car, but about the fact that this model likes to rust.
@@rustblood6718 any old mercs like to rot, but engines are like rocks, they roll forever

Ever been to Kinshasa, Congo? These vans are still the backbone of public transportation, running 4-5 Million kms fully loaded every day.
Hi Flexiny, how many kilometers had the vehicle with the most that you restarted? in any case always a treat to watch these videos
Прикольно. Надо , что то перевести пошел в поле взял автобус завел. Дела сделал и поставил на место.
what engine does it have? It should have the 602 (about 2900 cc and 5 cylinders) but this appears as a 616
I agree, I have a 602 and it doesn’t look like this one. I think it’s a 307d
Remember these well in the 80s very reliable solid Van's no turbo so no problem same as old 2.5 transit I think it sounds like one.lol
Amazing engine start
Excellent work.....like always :) 😋💪💪💪💪
Unbelievable! Marvelous!
Hey flex hope you and the puppy is good I'm still here
