We met in 74 when I walked by her standing in a line and I knew she was the one before we met or spoke which was a few days later. Lost her to cancer 4th of July 2022 and all I can do is remember.....
I'm sorry for your loss Sir. My dad survived cancer 6x's before #7 took his life. For 35 years he battled. He passed away at 69 in April of this year due to complications from previous cancer treatments. Technology wasn't what is today. The radiation and chemo was way less advanced, and then in 2006 he was diagnosed with multiple cancers at once due to swallowing his tobacco chew for years. Stomach, bowl, and colon. Then they found spots on his kidney, and in his lymph nodes. Then it was skin cancer. Any extra parts that man can live without he did. 1 kidney was dead, he was missing a third of his stomach, had an eliostomy, 6 ft of bowl, no spleen, a lobe of his lung was gone. He had an appendectomy as a child. They sewed his anus shut, and removed 4 big lesions from his face that had roots.... but he was my Daddy and I miss him. He fought hard. Hope you eventually heal Sir. Good luck.
Amazing it make me think about my grandpa. An the day he told me it's not what you do for yourself. but what you do for other's that the the will remember you for.
Amazing ! I think of my mom . She passed 2 years ago and I lost 2 years with her because of covid . They closed the nursing home to visitors and the next time I saw her she did not know me. She had dementia and she passed 2 weeks later .
