Today I met 2 international students Suman and Twinkle from Ludhiana, Punjab, and Gwalior, MP, India at De Montfort University in Leicester. Both came to the UK in September 2023 to pursue an MSc in Marketing Management from DMU.
They have spoken honestly about their experience of studying in the UK. Suman paid her 6 months fees in advance from India and wanted to pay the rest on her own while studying and working part-time. They are not students they are just labours.they choose useless courses like marketing and management and then complains.
MiM isn't a useless course - the thing is when you plan to come to uk and especially for management! Go for top university and cross-check the employability rate of that university

@abhishektendulkar8672 problem for these so-called students is they are not bright wnf or have any qualifications to go to any good Uni, so they just get admission in any college.
If they go to good Unis, then they have to have proper attendance l, coursework, etc, and Unis stay in constant touch, and if students don't work up to date, they kick them out.
Colleges dont chase them so they don't give any fees and just hide and work cash in hand as much as possible to make money. So basically, they just get the visas to land in the UK and then just hide and live illegally.
@@abhishektendulkar8672management is very useless course especially if you go to 3rd tier universities like Leicester, they all come to UK for the name and to flex back at home that they’re studying in London
People need to be more smart when it comes to purchasing groceries and saving money. I've been here for 9 months and I've never spent £100/month on groceries. If you're moving to a new country, then you need to learn to adapt to their environment. Stop visiting the Indian stores in UK and getting scammed, purchasing groceries at high markups. Visit stores like Lidl, Morrisons, ASDA, Aldi.. if you want to save money. You need to learn budgeting before you move here or you'll end up just complaining.
Apart from that, if you're moving here to live on minimum wage, then this isn't the country for you. You should focus on your studies and go for something that might help you landing sponsorship here.

@@IamSoAdorable-lh7ob I don't eat 3 meals in a day, I'm not at my home in India. I don't have time to cook 3 meals a day. Use your brains and budget plan what you wanna buy, don't spend on things that aren't essentials and 100 should be enough

Yar people who think they cannot survive in UK , its a free advice please come back to india , no one forced to go to uk , more over now a days its skill based competition, would suggest to upgrade your skills and more over communication skills , going abroad is always a planned process.

@arorarishabh1986 problem is there are less than 5% of students who come here to actually study. Others just get visas to land here , and they never even go to Unis and stay n work illegally as soon as their paid fees period is over.

Otherwise per day 50 to 60 pounds hotels me waste karke fir higher paying rented room le sakte he. Depends on everyone's planning about saving money and budgeting.
@travellingphysio if you are living in the UK, then you know how bad the situation is. Students are heavily dependent on Gurdwaras for their meals. I dont know how they can pre book cheap rooms unless they r ready to pay 800/pm (cheapest). We are ling established UK citizens, so telling what we see every day. People knocking at our door to accommodate them gor free/cheaply and crying.
All i want is to pass the reality to those who want to come to the UK thinking it's easy to find jobs, travel, and afford even basic essentials.
