So touching to see Johnny as I remember him, sun kissed, cheeky and smiling. Sad that he has left us, happy he has left us this legacy so we can revisit and recall the reasons he was so appreciated for the joy he evidenced in life.
Sometimes it's hard to believe that he will not be showing more homes. I miss his happy personality and his love for the countryside. It's good to be able to look back to happier times.
@@jennyc1846 yes. Johnny had brain cancer and survived with it for 2 yrs. He passed on in early Feb. he had a spouse and three little boys. Very sad for all of us
Johnny you were a good man. You’re on the other side now with our Heavenly Father. I only know you from the show but from all of the messages and with the watching I’ve done, you seemed to have made an impression on most who gotten to know you through your time on television. You’re missed by many.
Watching the episodes with Jonnie fills me with so much sadness now, he was such a positive, enthusiastic and witty young man, he had to leave to be with Jesus way too soon! Still thank you very much for sharing so many episodes with him, as this is what he deserves, to be remembered. I really liked house #2, the bedroom at the top with the view was wonderful, but the mystery house seemed perfect for them, I hope you've got it, or found a place that's just as beautiful.
I loved the 2nd house. Quite deceptive from the front which makes for a lovely surprise. i love the layout, clean lines, modern finish plus the bonus of an apple tree plus it's price of 55k below budget
What a lovely experiance fishing like they did so many years ago... Yes, Jonnie was a lovely person glad he enjoyed his life ... and where ever he is now so many peolple wish him well, wish him love.
Maybe Helen needs to go back to the caravan 😂..."too much glass & chrome" "I dont like island benches"...personally myself having to rent, I would kill for that house..any house..isnt she lucky she can ve so picky!!! She did say at the start "pretty open minded on the house"!!! Glad she found what she liked in the end and I hope they were able to put in an offer and it was accepted. ***** OMG I just read about Jonnie (2024) my heart goes out to his wife and 3 children I hope they have had lots of support since his passing -❤ I realise this is an old show...... Have lost a friend and ex to the same disease, what an aweful thing it is. I am so sorry.😢
Completely agree on all fronts. Helen simply has no imagination so she took all the houses as they were. But as you say, happy that they found something they both liked. Personally, I liked house #1 the most. Loved the quirky layout and history of the house and the garden was beyond stunning. Plus village location.
What? Was that a Rothko on the Livingroom Wall in the 1st House ? Guess No! Can't believe, or don't want to... Jonnie Irwin ' s gone... He still will be inspiring to new Hosts!

Yes, even though I didn’t know him personally and I live in Canada, I feel so sad about his loss. He touched so many people in his lifetime.
What happened to Johnny ...anyone..please? He died?

Lovely that last property, and the setting and views. ...and the peace.
It’s refreshing to find a kindred soul who doesn’t like islands (and, conversely, likes a more ‘friendly’ kitchen. ❤
Jonnie was so young💔 I will remember him like this!
Great presentation with a fabulous host. It's good to have so many episodes with him. Thank you very much.
Dear Johnny, what a loss. Thanks for posting, it was great to see him at his best on an episode I had not seen, much appreciated from NZ.
Great mystery house. I like the way they terraced the garden as well. Hope they went for it.
