BA screwed me over...basically they changed my flight times so that it would force me a overnight stay at LHR at my cost...so I got a full refund and have just purchased an Emirates ticket to BKK from AMS...can you believe I saved £1,000 on not flying from England in business. I hope you are well?.
I'm fine thanks mark, Heading back in september again with Emirates via Paris £445 rtn...how could i refuse a price like that :D Only ever flown to Toronto with BA in 2007 & would'nt fly with them again as i think their prices are way over priced, was chatting to a guy in patts last year & he told me he paid £1000 economy frm heathrow to bangkok & i said why would u pay a 4 figure price when u could have flown with Emirates for half that price. When is your nxt trip ?
+777cpt What a great price...that would be about £16.50 or whatever per hour to sit on a plane have two meals plus definitely one snack, unlimited alcohol and unlimited blockbuster flims. EK have 3 flights a day all A380s...I've actually looked at them in business class...much cheaper again. I'm back over Hua Hin, Pattaya and Bangkok 5 days after I get back from Dubai in November I have a month off work...lucky for me I have 7 weeks 2 lieu days to take from work...a fellow worker of mine has or had 10 weeks and 2 lieu days to take...insane. Well I'm up early this morning to watch Newcastle play live...BT sports now. :)
***** Its the best price i've had from Emirates so far mark, I have 3 more trips to do between now and the end of the year, cant wait to get back out again. I get around 7 or 8 weeks holidays per year which is pretty good comparing to places i've worked before (4 weeks) Very sad about the two Newcastle fans who perished on MH17 on their way to watch newcastle play in New Zealand
777cpt . I think the cheapest EK I ever had in economy from Newcastle was £505 then I used Skywards miles to upgrade on the return leg. The Newcastle fan that was nicknamed the undertaker just lives up the road from me about 2 miles at that...It is great to the Sunderland fans raise £31,000 maybe the next football derby our fans can enjoy it and go home without trouble.

There is really nothing that beats the sound of an A380 engine. Okay maybe a 777 engine but.....
Try 737 if you sit at 16 F, the engine sounds, otherwise, yes A380 engines whirr can't be beaten easily
