Handy tool to have for camping, small enough to fit in a side pocket on pack etc. Wonder what it would be like helping to get a fire going? I especially like tools and gadgets that have multiple uses.
Really handy little gadget. It’ll get the fire going easy enough. It’s not much less than the zero. Yeah I love a gadget. As long as it works. This has got really good build quality. I like it. 👍
looks pretty cool! dont think it'll sell well tho, it needs a built in charger, defeats the purpose being 1.2 OZ if you need to carry a charger for it, atb Mark.
Looks good im not bothered about a light i have a separate light but the ease of having usb charging is the main thing for me so the separate battery is a no
Definitely a negative. But they emailed me saying they’re possibly adding a usb-c port on the next version 🤷♂️ or supply a charger. I use a separate light as the one on the previous pump wasn’t bright enough. So I reckon a Couple of tweaks and it’ll be good.
I have a naturehike pump , can be used as a pump (obviously) also has a light and can also be used as a charger for your phone .It is considerably larger than the pump your showing , but the Naturehike one is a lot more use ....just my tuppence .... :)
Yeah there’s a flextail version of the same NH pump. I found the light wasn’t good enough. And I always carry a powerbank and better lantern. So this (for me personally) is great. It’s so small I reckon they’ll be losing them 😂. They say it will eventually have either a charger supplied or a usb-c fitted. The zero isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea. With comparisons to the tiny. But I reckon it’s a really nice compact efficient bit of kit. I’m not just saying it. There are negatives but overall it’s a great idea. 👍
Hi Andy Like the idea of it Don’t like the battery and no light so kind of what is the point. I have the tiny flex tail with the light weighs like 90g and is usb 🤷♂️ Cheers G
I take a separate light as the one on the tiny isn’t enough for me. So the lack of light on this isn’t an issue for me. They’ve emailed saying they’re going to either put a usb-c in the finished article or supply a charger. Not for everyone these but I’m liking it. Just need the correct nozzle 😂
Seems good like but I use the tiny pump 2 and I love it, doubles up as a light, and a good light too so what's the problem with it, Now you need to carry a pump and a light...nar, stick with me tiny pump 2 thank you very much Jerry 😂
I get it’s not everyone’s cup of rosy. But I think the light on the tiny isn’t much cop. Drains the pump battery too. Mine died in a camp. So deflating it wasn’t possible with the pump. I always take a separate light anyway. So personally it’s great for me. But yeah. I know not everyone will be convinced. Newbies might though 👍
@@AndyWardle out last night in Peak District and inflated my xtherm large with tiny pump and had it on middle light setting most of the evening and it was fine, never used it to deflate though, just reach over head in morning and twist.. me fat body does the rest🤣 Got pestered by midges tho, is the flextail repellent thingy worth buying 🤷♂️
😂 I deflated the mat in the video and it went in the bag dead easy. So that’s a good thing. But other mats are fine just rolling them. Yeah. I reckon the repel works. I doubt it could handle a massive shit storm of them though. But just normal pesky midges no bother. I’m sure there’s new more powerful pads now as well to use. They’re black not blue. Supposed to be better again. Unsure if they’re available in uk though. 👍
I had an email saying they’ll either get a usb-c port fitted or supply the charger. So yeah. It’s win win. The battery allegedly lasts 20-25 inflations. 👌
ive camped and wildcamped and done all sorts of outdoor sleeping and never ever felt the need for a pump to inflate stuff. That being said each to their own
It’s not for Everyone. It saves puffing a mat up though. And the pump sacks can be a pain if it’s raining. It’s a gadget. Overall. People love a gadget. 😂😂.
I’m not convinced the nozzle I used was right. I’ve watched other vids and they were a nice tight fit. Flextail have said they’ll sort that though 👍
So your nozzle wasn't a nice tight fit? Did you arouse it first?
@@GarethZoeWildcampsya roooood ye like 😂😂😂
Looks pretty cool mate great info on it nice video 👍👍👍👍👍
Yeah I’ll keep using it see how it gets on. I’ll update on later vids. 👍

For it's sze it has plenty of puff and vacuum bro. Safe travels. Ken.
Tiny little thing. Others saying it’s not that strong. I disagree. That sea to summit Mat takes a lot of inflating. With the tweaks it’ll be great. 👍

They recon it’s going to be made with the usb on it. So that’ll sort that. I like it. Not as bright as my torch though 😂 😂😂

You had both caps of the mat open? If you keep one closed while you inflate then the air doesnt escape.
Yeah. I think that’s what make me think it’s the wrong nozzle for that mat.
It reminds of that track tiptoe through the tulips by big audio dynamite.
😂
I hope they sell the charger with it...when you are a gram counter you have got to have it regardless of the cost :)

I need it wonder what the price will be
Check the link. 🔗 It’s not that expensive. When it’s available like.
£30. Ish
1st! 😂
Ha. 🏆
You totally missed the function of the rubber extension… definitely not to attach the lanyard
What’s it for then
@@AndyWardle you wrap it around the pump body in order to not lose the rubber adapter when switching back and forwards to inflate or deflate.
