Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.
On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.
Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.
Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Really painful moment for meerab and awesome expression by Yumna. Felt very bad for Murtasim when he saw meerab in Rohail's flat , but what about Murtasim with Haya ?
Why painful moment for meerab. She don't respect him, care for him, give him no right as a husband, always ungrateful, rude, selfish, complaining, showing her ego to murtu. And most importantly she knows about haya's intentions and feelings for murtu. She is the one who told haya " tum mujhe murtasim ki zindagi se nikal do me tomhara shukriya ada karungi

I am not saying Meerab's character in the show is a good one, but according to you, Meerab had no right to question Murtasim especially when she continued to say that she doesn't consider him her husband, and that is right, but then again Murtasim had no right to question Meerab either. I think you forgot that Murtasim didn't just say that he, as her husband, hates when Meerab meets Rohail; instead, he questioned her character. His exact dialogue was, "Pehle qirdaar banao" and my question is...why? Why was Meerab's qirdaar being questioned, when Murtasim himself was found in the same position, if not even more scandalous, with Haya? Why did Meerab have to create her qirdaar in front of Murtasim, and why was she told to jump from the roof, when Murtasim himself allows Haya to flirt with him and try to take Meerab's place? Here the point isn't of just getting hurt, but rather whether or not the person in front is loyal to you. And given that they both are found in equally revolting situations, they both are right in getting angry with the other, and both are right in trying to defend themselves.
