I think this is my fav stage of time machine the fanchants, the overflowing charisma and self confidence giuk was radiating, the camera work everything, not even mentioning the live vocals and giuk looking amazing, cuz it's a given

I wonder if it was a good idea to officially change his artistic name to his birth one before his first solo album, I mean I understand the reasoning but most people still know him as Cya. And not to offend anyone but in my opinion Cya sounds better for a band member than Giuk.
He said he wanted to change it before it was too late, and changing to using his birth name after his solo debut would only be more confusing and challenging. He's promoting with onewe's name attached too which means that, while some people might get confused at first, they'll see his onewe's name alongside his, making it easier for people to learn that he changed name. It may possibly have been a bit smoother to change say before gravity, but considering that wasn't even promoted, idk how much difference it would make. At least doing it the month before his debut got people talking about him again and helped to increase anticipation for his solo debut before rbw officially announced it, and meant that news articles highlighted the name change as well. Besides, it was a big decision to make and he was nervous about it, so it's completely understandable he took his time before committing to officially changing it. CyA is a good name, but he shouldn't have to stick with it forever if he doesn't want to. He wants to use his birth name because the meaning behind it is important to him, and Giuk suits him just as well anyway imo. CyA was a stage name he chose when he was just 15, and he's grown up a lot since then. Both onewe and weves have been using Giuk with him more than CyA for a long time too, so it's more comfortable, and just seeing the smile on his face after he officially introduced himself as Giuk for the first time at his concert i think it's clear he's happier that way. Also, if you really think about it, CyA works as a member of onewe (excluding pronunciation issues), but honestly, it doesn't really work as a name for a solo artist because it's far too common a word. From my experience, searching for just "CyA" without typing "CyA onewe" on most platforms/search engines usually gives you results that are anything but about him. In contrast, "Giuk" alone is unique enough that literally the only other thing that might come up is the "GIUK gap" in the Atlantic, and you'll still get results for him alongside that. Add his full name Lee Giuk or pretty much any basic descriptor like singer, korean, band, album, song, etc. and the searches will all be about him because it's an uncommon name. So tbf the name change makes sense from a marketing standpoint too.
