These giant inflatables are awesome. I own two 20' nutcracker and one giant 20' snowman and a 10' rain deer (and some "smaller guys", too. You have to be ready for problems with the big guys, especially wind. I have learned over the past 3 years that (1) Replace the lights with LED lights which are brighter and cool to the touch (2) have replacement fuses ready--you will need them (3) If you wind is more than 3 mph, you will need MUCH bigger commercial grade stakes; you can get 18" yellow commercial grade stakes from Home Depot in the materials supplies for concrete supplies (4) four lines on each giant (5) Get some colored duct-tape to patch holes (a sewing machine helps as well) (6) Be ready to replace the blowers at some point (7) Deflate them once a day and let the motors rest for 6-10 hours (8) Watch for tears and rips (9) Enjoy them! They are a lot of fun, and with a little daily care they will last a long time.

I staked the base fan first, after I had positioned the inflatable where I wanted it. Then I attached the tether clips to the loops, while the inflatable was deflated (since it's too high for anyone to attach them when it's up), and I staked it down to where I thought it looked good and was up-right. And the tethers I have pretty tight. It was a little bit windy in the vid, not really but a little, and that's why I had them so tight-so it wouldn't bobble around or anything during the review=)
What's the wind situation on this per your experience? One of the side straps ripped out during like a 10mph gust for me. Had to get a new one. Now I won't put it up with winds over 8 mph.
So, when I had mine up, there wasn't any wind over 3 mph. I'm definitely not gonna have it up over 8 like you said. I also had my tethers really tight so it wouldn't move back and forth, but like you said, it ripped the tether loops out on yours... and I don't want to have that happen to mine.
Do not pay more than $189.99. Retail for it is that price. Sold at At Home stores, and they get a good amount so if you go to one you'll likely find him.
Thanks for replying so quickly. I went to the store like u recommend and found one in stock but the motor in it is NOTHING like yours. this one has two small fans and they don’t even have a base like yours. Is this a new model or something that you know of? Thanks again
Yes. I just checked today after work and it is the 20ft Santa it has two motors about the size of the little 4ft inflatables lol I purchased it anyways and I got the 10ft one also… I opened the box for the 10ft one and it has the exact blower as ur 20ft Santa but the 20ft Santa I got has the two little blowers 😂😂 when I get back from my trip I will post a video up so u can check out the “new” model thanks for your help cheers !
I just got one of these and first time owning anything like this. I hear you have to let it run and be inflated all day, is that correct?.....I'm planning on putting on side of my home in an empty field, do you think the wind will be a problem, it is usually windy on that field all the time
I'm gonna get it without a doubt. And yeah they're close in size- I'd say the 18' Jack is the little bit smaller version of the 20' Nutcracker that I have (for comparison)... their body shape is similar.
Curious if you have the 20' snowman? If so, do you think a box could be built on casters to use on asphalt and then roll into a retail store every night once deflated? The thought is that perhaps all the tie downs could already be completed for employees and they would only need to wheel outside and plug in. Please let me know. Looks like we may need to reinforce the cloth loops.
So, I DON'T have the 20' Snowman. But the same situation applies for this one and the Snowman. And my question is how are the tethers going to be secured if ur rolling it in and out each day? I'll be glad to help u as much as I can tho=)
@@INFLAmy thought is to build a platform that has anchors to secure the tethers. Just not sure they will be spaced far enough. The other possibility is to wrap tethers around sand bags and each day sand bags go on platform at end of day. The fan base would be anchored to platform. Thoughts?
They should’ve put a YEF-200 on this since it is the biggest and most powerful base fan they make. My 7.5ft animated helicopter has it but they couldn’t put it on a 20ft inflatable. That’s pathetic.

Just bought the 20ft snowman and didn’t really think about the work it’ll take inflating/deflating on a daily basis 🤦♂️ any tips?

Was it bigger, or smaller than you thought?
can you recommend a U shaped stake? i need some for my 14 foot inflatable santa the ones they came with are not strong enough

I lost my base stakes. Any recommendations for replacements? I have the 12ft happy pumpkin inflatable.
Why would you actully use the base stakes that came with it. Anyway. I recommend some really heavy duty U shaped stakes
That is a great inflatable now that can draw a crowd
Agreed
Sure can!=)
Getting it for 160 is a steal today. Awesome price.
Awesome👍 airblown colossal Santa Claus
How do you keep it from falling over from strong winds???
I don't inflate them during winds over 6-8 mph.
How did you steak it down I’m afraid the wind would knock it down

Love this one!!!! Really wanted it........Will this be in this year's display?
Not only will it be in the display, it's going to be the CENTERPIECE. Surrounded by at least 5-well, I'll let the rest be a surprise lol
How did it hold up over the year?
Perfectly fine.
I personally like the Snowman the best of the 20ft’ers but this is a close second.

I got the 20ft Santa and 20ft Nutcracker from at home. Can’t wait to inflate them.
awesome!!

I've got 2X 20-ft Nutcrackers to go on each side of the Santa!
