Another benefit of waiting this long to really know who Victor is: even though Oz is very emotional about Victor’s urges to run away to California with Graciela, he’s very clearly more devoted to his dream of being Rex Calabrese and is only interested in Vic’s successes such that they serve the legend Oz is fulfilling for himself
The whole penguin sopranos description I keep seeing is nonsense. It's not at all, anything like The Sopranos. And as much as I like it, I don't think it's a top 20 show post Sopranos.
No you’re not going mad. I thought the same thing on the opening shot of the car after Victor crashed it into one of the Merlino gang members. The head lights look like eyes and the fender somewhat like eyebrows. I paused it at that point to really look at it and it was giving me an “angry bird” feeling.
STOP SAYING LATINX, it's a term that like 1% of the population uses and 99% of everyone else thinks it's incredibly cringe and not representative of latinos/latinas. Just say Latin if you want to be gender neutral, FFS
Every stutter scene is incredibly cringe to me. It's really well done. Idk how everyone else reacts to it but as someone who stutters. Man it's done wayyy to well. It is not an enjoyable experience. 😅
I think it’s made to make us the viewer uncomfortable. It made me reassess how I look at disabilities and truth be told what are my own as I consider myself “normal”. Thanks for the statement, it made me further think.
“ I think back to hurricane katrina and ppl carrying tvs because it’s the only valuable thing they had” * while he’s giggling the whole time. Some things should not be laughed at, if you can’t hold your laughter don’t do the interview it’s insulting
That's what they are doing. She mentioned it in a podcast, not in the show. If you actually watch the show they are letting the story play out organically with fully realized characters, without virtue signalling.
Oh no, involving different cultures into the show. What a horrible woke mind virus, Latinx people DEFINITELY don't exist in real life!!! Its just used as an inspiration & to add more character to the story. Batman isn't going to show up and start giving money away to a bunch of Hispanics while talking about Kamala Harris. Shut up.

I thought Episode 3 was the best hour of tv I'd seen all year. You had the director of episode 3 in front of you and he admitted that it was his personal favorite. And then... you moved on from that... NOOOOO!!!! Why was it his favorite? What made it his favorite? Instead, you asked some prewritten, scripted question that completely changed the subject. Hearing this podcast really made clear that Vic's stutter is spot on and authentic. Good job
I feel like his stutter was better and more prominent in this episode than before.

This needs to be on video! This podcast could be an entire new show!
authentically using their stutter and generating incredible work. good for Rhenzy Feliz.

This show has got me hooked!!
I kinda wish there was video of these podcasts

Great analysis... 👌🏾👌🏾
Best show since The Sopranos... Penguin Soprano.

After this episode, the show now has 3 main characters.
I said at end of episode , call this victor and the penguin baby lol
I like it
Good job, you can count! 🥴
@@maxmiller8196 Victor was only a side-character before this episode, or at least we thought that he was.
Great show! Podcast and the series. ❤ so much great acting and writing in this show.
Loved this episode surprised the stuttering coach has a stutter but doesn’t mention it!
❤
Perfect show so far!!!
Got to appreciate Vic going full method and keeping up the stutter even when show has finished filming 👏🏼
Amazing episode. The show is building itself so well and only getting better. Great work folks!

Amazing show. Just gets better.

Sopranos vibe of course. But Walt and Jesse vibes too. Also Sophia Falcone…I can fix her…
You want to fix her?! 😅😅
I love this show I only wish I could be apart of it somehow
Best Show
Awesome just bloody awesome ❤❤

I was all in until I heard “Latin X”
Sad that one word triggered you so much. Must be hard being so sensitive.
Latin x doesnt make sense why is she calling it that? Whats wrong with latino and latina ?
I don’t think she sees anything wrong with it but as the way she describes herself. She did say she was half Mexican.

It could be “nervous laughter” a kind of tic if you will.
SERIOUSLY HBO! You couldn’t set up a fkn studio and bring the cast/guests in a video podcast!
No. Some of them are calling in because the show is over and they've moved on to other projects.
Did she really say “LatinX family”? That’s crazy. Changing people culture is wild
Is her culture too
And a lot of latin Americans are perfectly ok with the term.
As a cuban, I certainly don't have any problems with it.
@@wil4648me too. I really don’t care I still say I’m Latino though. But if people want to be known as Latinx then who cares.
Latino here. La mera verdad no me importa si dice alguien latinx o no. It's not a big deal, and life goes on.
Well I do. It’s colonization of a language, if you truly respect them. Don’t change their language
