I use ctrl + 0 to create border around selected cells. Thanks for teaching me i can click the line not only the box! For some circomstance the "draw line" is useful! Good vids as always
I wouldn't expect the preview diagram to be clickable if the buttons are there. Why does the preview have 2 previews? The buttons seem to be the same set as the dropdown. Maybe lose the buttons, add a cell's content to the preview and include the + - buttons on each line to allow for double lines, etc...
Until this moment, I did not know I could click the lines to add a border. So, I guess you know my answer. Thank you for this tip.

Mostly buttons. I tend to use lines when I’ve accidentally changed the cell formatting

I click the lines generally. But for diagonals, I prefer buttons.
Also, I usually open the dialog via right-click/format cells.

I personally click the lines it feels more intuitive
I usually use the lines.
tbh...i prefer the dropdown menu. 😏 Then for more customization I turn to the Draw Borders option pencil.
