    A Correction is needed at 3:10. A Motor with a Service Factor of 1.15 Can be overloaded by 125% not 115%.

    thanks a lot , sir can you explain if its use 2 overlords for star delta configuration is that wrong or is that reliable for safe conditions of a motor

    • @emotorsdirect
      @emotorsdirect  8 месяцев назад +1

      I see no reason to use more than one overload block as any one of them tripping will shut off power.

      once i have experienced a motor getting damaged because of the timer problem, i think that kind of problem will not be affected after applying 2 overloads....I don't know if it's a better idea or not...once again thanks for your reply and its great work you are doing with this channel 👍👍

    Hi thanks for the great video. I was just wondering. Can you put just two hot wires in a three pole overload (ex. L1✓ L2✓ L3×)??

    • @emotorsdirect
      @emotorsdirect  2 месяца назад

      Yes, you can wire two hot wires through a three-pole overload relay, but it depends on the relay's design and specifications. Ensure the relay supports two-wire operation or consider using a two-pole overload relay to avoid potential faults or improper operation.

      Great thank you for your reply.
      I couldn't find a 2 pole overload relay handy for my project but I improvised just looping my T2 to L3 and my T1 and T2 as my output to the motor. Should be okay right?

    If water hole motor is 13.7 amp. (23.7 amp is what is on the motor plate written) what amps i have to set on overload switch please?

    • @emotorsdirect
      @emotorsdirect  4 месяца назад

      Hi GJ, it depends on the service factor.
      If service factor is greater than or equal to 1.15, multiply the FLA by 1.25
      If service factor is less than 1.15, multiply the FLA by 1.15
      Hope this helps!

    I have not looked through all your videos yet but all the settings on an overload are a bit confusing. The tiny explanations in the multi language packet sometimes refer to a symbol that doesnt mean much to someone learning or uninterested. Leads to guessing at adjustment. Thanks for your videos.
