Does Tekken 8 have a feature that lets you simplify moves to make strings easier? Because if that’s the case, it just means there’s less fumbling combos, which doesn’t lower the skill ceiling. Your timing and spacing still has to be on point. So is all of his whining just about his skill issue?
Theres special style but that is literally little brother mode with like 1/15th of a total characters moveset He mostly complains about heat, the thing that zooms the screen in, has armor and uses that blue meter. If you press R1 (or in Tekken notation, 2+3) it gives you a relatively quick, relatively high damaging attack, that takes up all the heat meter but some characters can use to force you to guess if blocked. In heat, specific moves get buffed to be a more powered up version. There are also some attacks that auto activate heat, and most of those moves can be cancelled into a heat dash for continued pressure on block or combo extensions, but those also eat up the meter. Dale is mostly complaining about the fast, high damaging attack though, that does less damage than a launcher combo, but they vary in usefulness from character to character
