Same!!! I always think 1st timers look overwhelmed and maybe don't seem that enthusiastic, but once they are home the Disney blues hit and then they start hinting at going back 😂 my husband was a 1st timer when we went together in 2016, I'd been a few times before we met and now he's just as obsessed with Disney/Universal/Orlando/Florida as me. Think we've done 7 trips together so far. We're off to Disneyland in October for the 1st time. Praying Shaun becomes addicted...in the very best way 😁
Oh. Seeing the start of another adventure come on my feed today was the highlight of my day. Really love your authentic and laid-back vlogging style. Especially love all the witty comments. My husband was not a Disney person but he indulged me for several years and finally we bought DVC. My husband now has Mickey on his smart watch.🤣.

At the end of the trip, Shaun gave the whole holiday an 8/10 and said he would go back in 5 or so years. Not a complete convert and it took him a good few days to properly start enjoying himself haha xx

My first time ever going to Disney I took my 2 and 5 year old(2 yrs ago), this year I’m going alone! I can’t wait but at the same time I’m going to be so emotional because part of my inner child will start to heal 🥰

Ooooh thanks for the compliment on my make up! I use Roche Posay sun cream, then Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, and a cheap Rimmel powder for my base. Then I add Benefit Hula bronzer and Nars orgasm blush on top, and finish with a MAC setting spray xx

new Subbie. Great vlog Kate you got so much into your first day. Havent' gotten to Animal Kingdom yet but I will. Love Disney Springs, and the summerhouse is amazing, went in March for my daughter's birthday. Moved here last Aug...and still daily vlogging it all. The Disney Boardwalk is my favourite place to get away and just walk and be calm and obviously nip into Epcot to visit England LOL. Have a fantastic day. xox

For future reference Virgin and Aer Lingus arrive at different terminals so it doesn't really matter which one takes off first

Did you say 17th or 70th time? After that many trips you might as well move to Orlando permanently.
We took off an hour after the earlier flight a few years back.
We were on the new A350-1000 later flight.
We took over the eariler flight a330 an hour before landing.. I caught it on camera and beat them to passport control.

Sorry totally random but I’m flying Manchester to Orlando on the airline and same flight time as you! What time roughly did you get to your hotel as we have no idea how long it will take etc as we’re also getting a taxi!
@@elliesmith5148 we got to the hotel at 6pm BUT we waited around 1.5 hours for one of our bags at Orlando airport. There were a lot of people complaining saying it’s common for there to be bad delays at the new terminal. If you manage to get your bags quickly then you should be at your hotel by 4:30-5pm. Have a fabulous time xx

Great video look forward to the rest! Can I ask, we are going in August and REALLY want some of those cocktails but do you need to show passport for ID ? Just scared of losing it :/
I’ve heard that you can use a photo of your passport on your phone for ID but I got this info a few years ago and don’t know if it’s still accurate
Some of the signs at quick service locations say a photo will do. But when I tried to use the photo at typhoon lagoon and in baseline taphouse they wouldn’t accept it! So annoying. It’s a challenge-30 state so if you look under 30, best to take ID with you. They also don’t accept UK driving licenses. It has to be a passport. We never carried ours round the Disney parks for fear of losing them or getting them wet etc. I took mine to universal which was a good job as they were even more strict than Disney. The Boathouse in Disney Springs accepted a photo of our passports - they explained the same rules don’t apply as they are third party. Good luck x

Hey! For my recent 3 trips I’ve always booked a package: two through British Airways and one with TUI. Our November trip is with Virgin. I don’t have a preference - I just pick what’s cheapest. So defo compare those 3 on their websites. It’s always worked out cheaper for me to book flights and hotels together as a package rather than booking separately (use SkyScanner to check flight prices). That’s not always everyone experience though - some people get good hotel deals on Attraction Tickets. Hope that helps xx
