So, in other words, not too reliant on a single burst combo. This is because of his inherent sustain (lifesteal passive) and his ability to get a big chunk of health instantly with R. Cass handles this well, she's great at keeping pressure up. The reason magic damage is better is because towers do physical damage, and if he has to build against magic, diving becomes much more difficult, and MR items have less ability haste on them which is the stat he wants most early. The point about diving you is simply that Nasus wants to dive you then pound your turret to dust with his Q. Getting more tower damage is much easier when you're pushed all the way up and kill the opponent under tower. Your character works well with phase rush (completely counters wither). Nearly all cass players run it. Your character doesn't rely heavily on auto attacks early. Cass is one of the fastest spellslingers in the game. If he can slow you, for example in the cooldown period of phase rush, ideally you should be able to slow or CC him to a similar magnitude and for a similar duration. I personally feel like if you've died so many times that you're barely worth more than a cannon minion you should do everything in your power to not get kills so your gold doesn't get reset, just farm and help in team fights
true. lux can break freezes, and malz is an autopush champ. nasus would have done much better if he swapped with lux, and even if cassio then went mid, it's much harder to permafreeze mid than top.

I gotta say I'm really happy to have watched game 2. Rengar is one of the most annoying champions because of the sound he makes when he jumps out of the bush and because of the jumping out of the bush play style. They really need to put a cooldown on that, like 30 seconds he can't use that jump BS. Lethality/Crit Yummy plz

That Nasus' mistake wasn't that he didn't build any MR
It's that he didn't lane swap with the lux when you started freezing the wave
