Very good string. Been testing it out lately and does wonders. Improved my aggressive offensive plays a lot. With the right technique you will put your opponent on the back foot with one forehand stroke.

Hey, thank you for commenting! You’re absolutely right - there’s nothing stopping you from combining tennis strings in various ways. However, some combinations may not yield noticeable improvements. For instance, pairing two polyesters like Alu Power and Alu Power Rough might not provide significant benefits since they are quite similar. The main difference lies in the texture of Alu Power Rough, which offers more bite on the ball.
Typically, most hybrid setups involve using one piece of polyester string (either Alu Rough or Alu Power) and one multifilament string. The multifilament can be Sensation, NXT, or even natural gut. This combination allows you to benefit from the durability and spin potential of the polyester while enjoying the power and comfort of the multifilament. Keep in mind that there are no magic fixes - every choice involves trade-offs. To optimize your setup, consider factors like your specific racquet and its specs, string tension, string choices, and your personal playing goals.

Hi, can you use this string full bed?

Certainly! If you choose to use a full set of Alu Rough for both your mains and crosses, you’ll indeed gain excellent control and accuracy. However, there’s a trade-off: the stiffer feel of Alu Rough means you’ll need to exert more power in your swing. Keep this in mind as you decide on your string setup!
