I agree 100%. SM's quality production is undeniable but RV's "extra something" is probably why I'm still listening to Kpop (after more than a decade. I'm old). I guess when you have a group that have the versatility and complementing vocals you take advantage of it. I Just - Red Velvet, by the way is a great song. (it has an MV) It's a song about being stuck and wanting to get out of a limbo-like place/state because you still have unfinished business to settle. It saddens me that there's a pretty sizeable chunk of K-pop listeners out there that's still unaware of undoubtedly one of the most remarkable collection of quality music in K-pop. I guess by reacting to their B-sides you give your subscribers a chance to delve into their discography one song at a time. Though I must say I get jealous of people who get to listen to RV songs for the first time. There are songs so good you don't want them to end, and there are songs so impactful you want to time travel to when you heard them for the first time. Red Velvet songs, man.
