Soap & Clay is a family owned business operating in Washington State, but started out online thanks to Mrs. Soap & Clay's kickass brother and his amazing web design skills. The business was started as a tribute to Mrs. Soap & Clay's grandmother, the OG maker in the family that cultivated everyone's love for the DIY life. The studio/retail shop opened in 2017 on 6th Ave in Tacoma, and immediately began teaching soap, bath bomb, lotion, and scrub classes to the makers and maker enthusiasts of the PNW. In 2019, the pottery studio opened as well, making the soap shop a busy place full of artistic energy every minute of the day.
Mrs. Soap & Clay has been featured on Business Spotlight, New Day Northwest, and was awarded a coveted place on the South Sound's 40 under 40 list in 2019, an award given to the most influential business people under the age of 40 each year. She cried when she walked up to the podium to accept the award. A lot.
Drawing from her chemistry background and her maker spirit, Mrs. Soap & Clay infuses her favorite things into her soapy designs and creates products that are fun to see, use, and learn to make. Stick around for this ride - she'll take you on a great one.

The cat was making biscuits on you hahaha she was just loving on you and she if you were stressed she was trying to calm you. They can sense your emotions. Tom cats that are fixed are very very loving. Love your videos.

Kittens learn to knead their mama’s belly to release the milk. It continues into adulthood as a comfort behavior. A cat being comfortable around you is a badge of honor. Not that you asked…☺️
Yes that's indeed because the kitty loves you, and when they pass and rub themselves in your legs is because they are acknowledging you as its property, because you are wrong if you think the cats belong to you is you who belong to the cats!! 😻
See the this FO's is like "Discoloration Jeopardy" you really don't know what you are going to get. Mine discolor just a tiny yellowy bit as well. The only thing that I got wrong with Burning Soul is that I used that FO to one of my female character soaps. But still works for the character so no big deal!🤷
My cat does this as well and it's also at very weird hours of the night and day. She is coming up 20 years old and she has done it from the moment I saved her as a kitten. So yes I would say it's because your cat loves yous 😻😻😻
Aww kitties! You’re truly loved if they enjoy “making biscuits “ and snuggling you. My cat used to fall asleep ON my head. And would often lay next to my head, eventually pushing me off my pillow. I kind of miss that now because my dog will literally push me off the bed or lay in a way that I have to sleep all contorted. Pets… they’re adorable and full of love but they can be real jerks sometimes!

Yeah, kneading you is a gesture that suggests they trust and love you. Cats show love and affection in a lot of ways. They DEFINITELY are capable of love.
Also these stone / gem soaps is making me want to make like a ruby inspired soap at some point. Play with reds and gems and stuff. Not sure what to scent it. Cherry sounds good but I'm not sure at the moment.
Also you mentioned a thing on your face and I KNEW where you were going. My little Z did the same thing of walking on my face when he was young.
Cats are so fun! I’m totally surprised. Cherry sounds good, or something sexy like an orange chili.
This reminds me of rum and raisin ice cream...weirdly enough. Strangely shaped raisins. I'm not crazy. I definitely think that glycerine rivers look great and would like to muck about with them myself. Thanks for this.

I appreciate you with your daily soapy fun antics. I know that is a lot and yes to the deep dives. I too like a long video. I like this tribe of fun sudsers and thank you for speaking your mind. I like a soaper who uses the crursey words (as Emily Baker would say). If they need to come out, let it fly I say.

@@melindaduncan3073 she’s legit one of the RUclipsrs I put on the TV while I’m making soap. Her streams are long, she is interesting, and before I know it all of my soaps are made and maybe I learned something about law. 🤪
