You wouldnt have been impressed if you were the guy on the motor scooter, but he illegally enteted the cycle box. If he was doing a left turn, he would have left hooked you, he wouldnt have waited.

Many people try and turn quickly, I remember learners on DGN driving doing this. One of the more serious of faults on a driving test.
The scooter rider on your right also shouldn't have entered the cycle box... If you have the extra time, these are worth reporting too!

I would assume if you were in the scooters POV they might have taken action. Feels like driving standards have dropped and there are more selfish / zombie drivers out there.

That's a fairly normal stunt for certain right-turners to play even if you're driving a car and going straight ahead; doesn't surprise me in the slightest they'd do it to two-wheelers. Annoying and potentially dangerous, but somehow I suspect it's below plod's threshold. If they did it to a copper, then they could expect to get done, but as it is, it's just another irritant to our daily travails.

It's surely common sense. But it's amazing how many people with happily pull across an oncoming vehicle. Here's a crazy one at the junction of Avenue Road at Prince Albert Road: ruclips.net/video/cfqZFbTgci4/видео.html . Incident happens around the one minute mark. Amazing reflexes by the skip lorry driver, suspect the Ford driver needed a trip to the St Johns Wood dry cleaners after that encounter! Amazingly (for that junction) no-one appears to have been on their phone!

That's not too unusual even if you are in the car...it's just this pickup-unsuited-for-the-UK was surprisingly slow to pull out. Maybe too heavy to do it as aggressively as a small Audi would
Maybe now the company car tax benefits of these barges has been removed we won't see any more of them...though as there's no retrospective changes current owners can stay smug.
