Bruno Manheim does make an interesting point about the suicide slums but I strongly disagree with his take that Superman hasn't changed anything. Superman changed a lot for the better, just not everything. Also, Lois talking down the judge from committing suicide reminds me of the comic page from all star Superman where Superman talked down Reagan from committing Superman. It shows how Lois is influenced by her husband.

For me this is the best show right now, this is Superman, this is a good story, yes there are some character that could easily be scraped, but they don't take the bulk of the show like Alegra, Chester and Cecile do, their story usually add to the main plot, while the actress that play Lana is awful, Kyle is great, Sara is okay, Sophie is berely there. The new Jonathan is amazing, I love his chemistry with Jordan, Bruno is legit scary, he just called out Superman and stared at him like he was nothing, no fear in his eyes... This show is simply the best, I'm so happy is not in the arrowverse.
Speaking of, ive been pretty happy with John and Natalie's stories regardless of what is happening. Their backstory alone makes them the most interesting side characters and their doom armor is just amazing
