    looking at using these for a elk hunting trip in november, how are they putting miles on them are the wires uncomfortable?

    • @ONeillOutdoors
      @ONeillOutdoors  2 дня назад

      If they do,wear some super thin socks between the electric sock. You may have to loosen the boot a little, but it’s a simple and cheap solution until you get used to it. They are perfect for elk hunts… just bring extra batteries!!!
      Also most don’t have any issues past 2-3 days or less of just getting used to them.

    Cost, temperature, how many hours will it work. I sit on a deer stand for up to 11 hours at a time at less than 20 degree temps.

    After 8 months, Did they hold up? Battery still good, etc. There’s a renewed product for 2022. I’m looking to buy. What do you think? You’ve spent a lot of time with them now. Thanks.

      They are doing good! I’m actually packing now for an elk hunt in the mountains and I have another in 3 weeks. These are always in my winter back.
      I run 4 pairs of socks and 5 pairs of batteries which I keep charged with 3 solar units. I love them.

    Very cool I was wondering how long the batteries last ????

    • @ONeillOutdoors
      @ONeillOutdoors  Год назад +4

      Any where from 3-8 Hours depending on low, medium or high setting!
      I toss 2-3 fully charged sets of extra batteries in my pack and I’m set for days when I’m hunting, fishing or camping!!!
      I don’t run them on high, usually just on low when I’m in the tent or sitting still for long periods.
      Used in this manor (in “bursts”) you can make the batteries last a LONG time before needing another charge!!!

      For duck hunting I use "kamik icebreaker" I use them all the time to work around the house, i get bigger ones so i slup in and out easily. Actually just used them for 3 hours today in the duck blind at -1 and my feet were fine. My "Baffin impact" are these massive winter boots that I use if I'm sitting still, they were free and too tight so I broke them in barefoot years ago. -30 no socks and my feet were on fire but it's like walking in moon boots...
