pyramid acropolis Vlohos Greece

In Aitoloakarnania, northeast of the village of Kainuriou, in the heart of the "Great Aetolian field", is the castle of Vlohos, at 688 meters. There, at the top of the hill, was ancient Thestia in ancient times. The Acropolis is surrounded by strong walls, the perimeter of which reached 4,000 meters. They were built by the Cyclops and are even older than the walls of Mycenae and Tiryns. The hill has characteristics of a scaled hollow pyramid, while around the perimeter there are arcades-entrances to the inside of the cyclopean wall.
