This EP is one of the most beautiful things i ve ever heard. The voice is supreme, unique. The melodies also and the keyboards are oldschool & glorious
one question: are there more then one version of the song "the end of the world" ?? I know one in a raw BM version and one in a version with piano and more slow.... both from godkiller i think...
this stuff is classic rock to me.... i feel old, i had this back in the day when everyone hated black metal. those where the glorious days of originality in black metal, not like today, where everyone tries to sound like a half assed copy of darkthone and say that its TRUE, to all you new supposed self claimed *true* black metal bands youll never be as good as the real darkthone. (there are some great bands today but you have to dig through tons of shitty bands to find them)
Just to update..this "is" one of the best BM EP.'s ever. What's strange is Iv'e never cared for much of anything else by Godkiller. They usually try different music approaches, but their release here, just rules.

How can Black Metal from 20xx be "medieval"? Seriously?? Folks, it is about music, maybe transporting an idea of something - but either you like the MUSIC or not. liking this music does not automatically mean that you like the "dark ages" as well. and being a fan of knights and fortresses and stuff does not make you a fan of Black Metal, right? Uh, I've got that idea of my history Professor listening to Burzum... and for sure that doesn't match. wake up!
:) Yes, you are right and i am with you. I startet with Blackmetal since i have seen old mayhem in Leipzig 1990. Bathory and other good Metal before Since this time i only listen BM. I know what you mean when you say " old or nostalgic " . I only want correct the release date from the Godkiller Album , i remember the day where i bought it:)
