I have been shooting this bow a year now. It is a Nice and precise bow. I shoot aprox. 100 arrows every day. Bow just work now, but I the begining everything came loose. Locktite is the cure for that 🙂🇩🇰
Awesome review. Feel like we just got 4 reviews in one. I think I am still going to go with the supra xl with the EM cam and an 85% letoff module for my stuby 26"ish T-Rex arms. THANKS Stephen.🏹🤠👍
Being looked after by the manufacturer if you ever needs parts isnt really a big deal..... buy one X10 to shoot a second for spare parts if needed and you would still have an extra $400 in your pocket. US manufactures make you go through a dealer to get anything, you cant even order the parts for your dealer.... so that after sales service ends up only being as good as your dealer and why I started driving two hours each way to Lancaster vs the 3 other shops in this area. *if I lived in Australia would be willing to go an extra hour over that for Archery Supplies, so much great info in these videos!
I shoot a Kinetic Trium X which is exactly the same bow as the Sanlida Prodigy X10. I love it, it has increased my scores. I have shot Browning, Mathews and Hoyt in the past, much prefer my latest bow. I am considering getting the Hero now.
I have this bow and love it. The draw cycle is aggressive and you are mechanically disadvantaged at the start of the draw. I think the cams are designed to maintain the draw weight irrespective of your draw length. I also have a cheaper Kinetic bow where the draw weight reduces when you reduce the draw length. I guess you pays your money and takes your choice.
So the more expensive bows provide peace of mind. The question is weather or not you are the type of person who thinks that's necessary? Good video. Thanks!
Great review Steven as always. I really like the look of the Sanlida. It seems plenty fast for target shooting. The PSE CITATION is quite possibly the best looking target bow they have produced to date in my opinion. Do they offer this bow left handed? Thanks for the great reviews brother!!! 🏹🏹🏹
Have been binge watching most of your compound bow episodes and it seems to me that out of the bunch, you prefer the m108Phoenix - albeit that video is about 2yrs ago.. would you do a revisit on the m108Phoenix..? 😄😆
There are loads of different nock sizes, beiter, bohning and Easton to name a few have different internal nock diameter. Could you measure the string diameter to give an indication which nock might fit?
I can't wait to try the SVX and DCX next September. Gonna see which one I prefer before the new bows release and see if I can get one on sale. If they're even replacing the Invicta.
@@liamboyle9199 I'm currently shooting a PSE Xpression with a Drive Hybrid Cam(DC for short) and I feel it's just too soft. I want something that'll make me work for it at the beginning and slowly sit into the valley. Nice hard stop there. I think the SVX will be more like what I want, but the 65% mod DCX might surprise me.
@@justinvzu01 Have you tried the limb stop on the top cam and or moving your module one stop ahead of thr draw stop which will give you a shorter valley?
I uwd to work for a hoyt dealer and hoyt are very good bows but I think they are over priced for what they are and its as if hoyt don't want them in the hands of the avarage archer and they are more designed for the top performers the sanleader looks bang for the buck fair play but I reckon the supra focus is the bow to get on a budget its such a fantastic bow and more forgiving.
Sorry, off topic but I was wondering if you've tried the zs-m122 and if so what you thought of it. I'm over in Canada and thinking of picking one up. I would have gone with the m128 you reviewed but alas I am a leftie.
Good day. do you have planes to shoot the PSE Lazer its the one bow that I have found that after the shot the slit snug forward helps me with my follow through. weighting for your opinion.
Hey buddy so im thinking about getting the topoint unison riser. My draw is about 25-26 and half and im looking to get a 66 inch bow how does that equate when it comes to poundage because im wanting a 40 pound. Ive nerver built a bow so what do i do. Is the poundage dictated by the stiffness of the limbs and what limbs would you suggest for under 200 dollars
I would start with lower than 40 pounds on recurve unless you are used to shooting them. The unison is a very a nice riser and quite capable. Remember that you will probably need to use and replace limbs as you go up in poundage, so don’t buy expensive limbs to start. A decent foam core limb is all you need to enjoy.
I've found I could reach out directly to them and got a set of there stabilizers sent directly to me in New Zealand and I'm just an archer. There stabilizers are thin and can hold up 31oz on a 12 inch back bar and 18oz on a 30 inch up front.
Hello, I have two questions, the first is if in 2023 it is still worth buying this bow and the second is they have changed something in the bow since its release date
I bought the bow two months ago and it is basically a copy of Hoyt Invicta. I would say that it is a great choice if you are a beginner or want to spend money for equipment instead of the bow body only. I'm no expert, just sharing my opinion.
That Sanlida cam is obviously trying to imitate the Hoyt SVX Cam that Invicta has the DCX cam which is far softer and easier to draw but lacks speed as well as in some peoples opinion lacks an aggressive back wall which can force the archer to pull through their shots properly. The trade off is really about how seriously an archer wants to take their shot otherwise an SVX cam will just rip your shoulder out of the wall.
Because it's a machined riser, comes with modules, and is overall just nicer. I wish sanlida would make a 40" version of the X8. At $300 it would be the world's cheapest 'target' bow.
I did 😂 thing is not sure if its my fault or being unlucky. All I can say is make sure you keep the rear locking screw tight because mine fractionally loosened off and allowed the pin that runs through the hook and what not to slide out but not all the way anyway cause the hook to roll off early and I punched myself in the face 😀
If you like spending a whole bunch of money so that you can buy brand name Bows then go for it. But you're going to shoot this inexpensive Target bow just as good as anything else. It's always going to come down to just practice and god-given skill not what brand you buy.

IMO, speed is not necessarily an important issue. 270 or faster is really a good number unless you're in an event where 300 plus is legal. There are some events in America where 300 fps is legal. A smooth even easy draw to me is more important than 300 or faster. Dropping very smoothly and with an almost unperseptable drop into the valley makes for a forgiving bow. The idea of having to strain your guts and shoulders to shoot an arrow is ridiculous with all the fine bows made nowadays. The straining your doing on this San,ida bow just sucks big time.
If they are paying for the patents then there is nothing to wake up to. I suspect that they are as they are allowed on the world archery circuit even after the crackdown
